Hindi na ulit ako bumalik sa Ilocos Norte dahil nag iipon pa ako ng pasensya para kausapin ulit si Wren without losing my sanity.
I busied myself with work and spending more time with Rain dahil siya lang ang nagpapakalma sa buhay kong hindi niya alam ay unti-unti nang nalulunod sa problema.
Ayaw ko kasing sabihin sa kanya na I was married and it didn't work because I was afraid of what he might think.
"Rain?" I knocked on his office here at the condo.
"Come in, baby," he said using a sleepy voice because it was already late at night.
Carefully opening the door, I walked in and made my way toward him.
"Come here," he told me and tapped his lap as he moved away from his desk so I could sit, kaya umupo ako roon at agad na yumakap sa kanya.
"Anything happened?" he asked softly while smoothening my hair and I closed my eyes because I felt so safe around his arms.
"I just missed you," I told him after merely shaking my head.
Carefully moving me away, he held up my chin to make me look at him.
"Really?" he asked and I nodded. "I missed you too, baby."
It was the first time we kissed on the lips, so I wanted to make the most out of it and started kissing him deeper.
He held on my waist, while I held on his shoulders and we both angled our heads to have a better access with each other.
I could feel his manhood growing beneath me, so I pressed myself against it for some friction, but I suddenly stopped and swiftly backed away as a whisper went behind my ears—making my hair stand up in horror.
"What's wrong?" Rain stared at me with a crease in his forehead due to confusion.
I ignored him because I was so sure the whisper was my conscience, telling me not to be stupid because I was still married, which means I was committing adultery...
"I-I'm sorry," I apologized when I noticed the hurt expression on his face, which he quickly fixed.
But it just made me even more guilty dahil siya nanaman ang nag aadjust para sa akin.
He stood up to reach me, and then he caressed my back to make me feel better. "It's fine. I know you're tired."
"I'm really sorry, Rain." I bit my lip.
"Let's just take a rest for now. We'll talk about it tomorrow," he said while we walked out of his office to go into the bedroom, where we laid by each other on the soft white mattress.
Turning to my side, I stared at him and he did the same.
"I'm sor--"
He sighed to cut me off and said, "Stop apologizing, Loreen."
