When Life Started

The Vlog No One Saw

The camera switches on, it's a sudden change. Other than the subtle gentle hum of other electrical appliances there is silence. In the single shot we see is a girl. In the frame slightly we can see the black leather seat she's sitting on. There's a white wall behind we see the corner of a single poster with the words 'Middle Earth' on it. The rest of the poster is out of frame. The girl, from what we can see, is rather curvy. Due to her wearing a black vest top we can see that she is busty. She's got rather messy golden blond hair, with straight bangs, that is armpit length. At first we don't see her eyes behind her tortoiseshell square framed glasses but then she looks up and smiles. Showing her gray eyes, and straight teeth that were hidden beneath her pink plump lips.

She chuckles to herself and clears her throat. Then she speaks, "Em, Hello, this is my first video ever. It is currently," She picks up her phone and presses a button, her soft Scottish accent comes across very strongly. There is a gentle glow that comes from her phone. Her eyes squint as she reads out, "One thirty five AM on Monday the 23rd of March."

She places the phone down and smiles, running her hand through her hair, "Today is my birthday, the camera was an early present from my dad. He lives in England with his wife and my little step brother."

She looks down at something off frame, then looks back up. "I live with my mum, step dad and my two sisters and one brother in Scotland. Oh yeah, my name is Marilyn. Marilyn Violet Clark, and today I am turning sixteen."

She chuckles to herself, running her hand through hair. She looks tired, she sighs. "Big day today."

She looks up, smiling to the camera once more, "You see, I've made a promise to myself. Everything is just so," the girl struggles for words, she looks around for inspiration, "everything goes so fast however nothing happens in this short time. Well, I want to change that. I want to change that completely." She pauses, then looks straight in the camera lens. Smiling, " From today I'm to try and live life to the fullest, no regrets. Yes, maybe moments that I'm not proud of. However no moments where I could think, damn I missed out. No." She smirks and looks down, "None of that. Not anymore." 

She looks up, still smirking, "Well, I'm not going to post this so." She pauses, looking at something below the camera. She smiles to herself, "This is just our little secret."

She sits there a few seconds, in silence. The faint hum of electrical equipment still humming. The girl then shakes her head, stands up and then pushes something off frame. Then the screen goes blank.
