[Liam Payne] Beautiful Times

  This is a fan fiction of Liam Payne from the boy band 'One Direction.'  Hope those of you reading enjoy.

  Chapter One: Captain!

  My dark brown hair blew back behind me from the soft and comforting breeze.  It was a beautiful day today.  The sun was out, the wind carried warmth, and I felt better than ever.  I was wearing black jean shorts, and a light pink V-neck.  I left my sandals by my towel, bag and chair a little further down then where I was walking to.  I let myself walk freely.  Actually, that is a lie.  My dog, Captain, was slowly taking me further down the beach, but I didn't mind.  He also didn't have a leash.  He didn't need one.  I trained him well.  The only thing he wore was a loose, silver chain collar that had his dog tags attached at the front.

  Captain has been with me for two years now.  Captain is, and will always be, my precious baby.  He is a pure black, German Shepard.  He's my protector, and is always there for me.  It's as if he knows exactly how I feel.  Which is one of his best traits.

  I wasn't sure about where he was taking me, and I wasn't sure whether he heard something, smelled something, or saw something.  All I knew was that he really wanted it.  Therefore, he was going to get it because he knew I would cave to his electrifying blue eyes.  As if on cue, Captain looked back at me with his piercing stare.  I smiled at him, and he gave a bark back.

  After a few more seconds of walking, I saw a small hot dog stand coming into view.  That had to be what Captain was smelling.  A bark was released from Captain's mouth as if to confirm he found what he was looking for, and he started to go a bit further in front of me.  I let Captain go as he was only in a steady jog, but his pace quickened.  Not only that, but he also changed his direction.

  "Captain!" I called after the black furred dog.  He only looked behind him to give me a glance before he began to full out run.  "Captain!  No!"  I called yet again, but it was no use as my calling went in one ear and out the other.  My feet heated up as I started running after Captain on the dry sand, away from the ocean tides.  I kept my eyes trained on the black mass of fur as I kept pursuit.  By the time I managed to catch up with him, he was hopping on his hind legs around a poor victim who was holding his hot dog up in the air, away from Captain's slobbering jaws.

  "Captain!"  I yelled with more authority.  He knew I meant business as he stopped jumping and looked towards me.  "Sit!"  I commanded as I pointed to the ground.  Without even the slightest hesitation, he sat down on his rump as he glanced at the hot dog, and then back at me.  "Good boy."

  I gave a sigh as I pinched the bridge of my nose.  I looked into the brown eyes of the stranger as I gave a timid smile.  "I am so sorry he did that.  Usually he doesn't run off like that."  I looked down into the blue eyes of Captain before looking back up to the brown eyed person.

  He gave a deep chuckle.  "Usually it's me that's apologizing.  And it's fine.  No harm done."  His smile stayed plastered to his face.

  I gave a nervous, awkward laugh as I rubbed my left arm, a habit I had when I was nervous, and unsure of what to do.  "Well, uh, that's good."  I chose weak words, knowing that the conversation was probably ending.  I also probably sounded like an idiot in front of this cute guy, too.  'Good job, Chels, good job.' I sarcastically told myself as there was a brief pause.  I was about to turn around until his voice came again.

  "His name is captain?"  I nodded my head.  And the guy bent down, petting Captain's head.  I watched closely as he was very close to my dog.  Captain also carefully watched this stranger.  He ripped off a small piece from the end of his hot dog and gave it to Captain, who meticulously took it from his fingers before swallowing it whole like it was nothing.  "Well I'm Liam."  The same smile was still there as he held out his hand, but it looked slightly bigger.
