"So can someone explain how... This, happened?" Fury asked whilst gesturing to Tony who was sitting on the floor coloring with a pacifier in his mouth.

"Well uh- Loki dropped on by and during the battle he kind of... Hit stark with a spell and... Made him mentally regressed back to a three year old." To say Steve was worried to see Nick's reaction was an understatement, he was terrified. Fury blinked and took a deep breath before he glared at all the Avengers "So you're telling me, a grown man is now mentally a young toddler, because you are all incompetent at your jobs."

Clint decided to attempt to defend them and he stepped forward a little. "Well see incompetent isn't-" Clint was swiftly cut off by Fury "No one asked you Clint." He shut his mouth and went right back to standing next to Nastasha silently. She gave him a smug look and he stuck his tongue out at her.

Tony was in the background happily scribbling away with crayons on a piece of paper they provided him with, as he colored he wondered how the walls in here would look if he put some color on them. They were so dull and boring, like the walls back at home in the manor. He hated the blank boring walls at home but if he colored on them Daddy would be really angry at him. He wondered how mad these people would be if he colored on the walls.

Fury continued to berate the Avengers but also work with them to see what could be done about Tony's situation, just then out of the corner of his good eye he notice Tony moved away from the table that had his paper. He stopped mid sentence and turned his head to see the sight of Tony coloring on the walls with a red crayon.

"ANTHONY EDWARD STARK!" Fury said angerly and everyone looked over with variating degrees of shock, Clint was trying his hardest not to laugh, as they all saw what Tony had been doing. He squeaked and jumped when his name was yelled and he dropped the crayon and turned around to be met with the sight of everyone staring at him with firm faces.

He hated when adults looked at him like that. It always made him so upset, it made his tummy feel all weird, like there were butterflys flapping around in there. He always knew he did something wrong when an adult gave him that look.

He stared at them before Fury pointed to a corner. "Get in the corner, now." He said firmly and Tony pouted but complied, it was better than what Daddy would've done. Daddy would've hit him.

He got in the corner and he sulked, he crossed his arms and pouted but complied with what Fury had told him to do. That was such a silly name to Tony. His name was Fury? Who's name is Fury? It made him want to giggle because everyone treated him so seriously but he had such a silly name, how did the adults say it without giggling?

After maybe 3 hours at the S.H.I.E.L.D facility the Avengers have been cleared to take Tony back to the tower. They discovered with the help of Doctor Strange, that the spell would wear off in a few hours, a day at the longest. That helped to ease the worry of if the spell would be permanent but it didn't help ease the worry of what they were supposed to do with Tony while he was like this. Yes he was mentally 3, but he was still physically an adult and would go back to being an adult in a little while and they all knew he'd be mortified about the situation when he returned to normal.

They were all sitting in the jet quietly, the tension was thick and nobody knew what to say. Tony was sitting in his seat kicking his feet happily, he thought getting to ride in a jet was so cool. Daddy owned a jet but he only used it for business stuff and Tony never got to ride in it, but now he was riding in a jet and it was so much fun!

Tony liked it here, these people were pretty nice to him, if not a little awkward. Maybe they hadn't been around kids before... That would make sense, they had treated him like he was a lot younger than three, they even gave him a pacifier and that was only for babies, but maybe they didn't know that. That's okay though because Tony was very happy to have a paci, Daddy didn't let him have pacifiers at home and when he sucked his thumb he got slapped so he was happy they didn't mind letting him have a pacifier here.

As he sat there happily kicking his feet he realized everyone around him seemed all weird. Everyone seemed to walk on eggshells, like how Aunt Peggy and Jarvis did when Daddy was mad. It made Tony feel all icky, he didn't like when everyone had to walk on eggshells and this time he especially didn't like it because this time he didn't know what was wrong. Daddy wasn't here so why was everyone so nervous?

He tried to figure out what was wrong... why was everyone so nervous? Was it Fury? Did he upset them? Was Fury like his Daddy? But that didn't make sense, Fury didn't hit him for coloring on the walls and Daddy would've hit Tony for that. Fury seemed nice enough, he gave Tony crayons to play with because he didn't have any other toys. It wasn't much but at least he tried!

The jet came to a stop and Tony realized they were at wherever they were going to. He kicked his feet excitedly, riding in the jet was fun but Tony wanted to get out to stretch his legs and go to the potty. Everyone got out of the jet and a lady held his hand and guided him to the door. He thinks her name was Natasha but he can't remember very well, she seemed very nice and her hair was really pretty. It was short and kinda curly, like his Aunt Peggy's hair.

She held his hand as she guided him to the door that led inside of the big ol' building. They all went into the building and there was an elevator! Tony loves elevators! They're so much fun and they always made his tummy feel funny when they did the weird drop thingy. The best part though, was that there were a bunch of buttons, and Tony loved to press buttons. He wondered if he asked politely would these people let him press the buttons on the elevator.

As they got into the elevator Tony hyped himself up and built up the courage to ask his question. "Can I press the button?" He worried that he said it too quietly or that they would say no and he'd feel like an idiot for asking but everyone looked at him and then each other before the lady who held his hand nodded. "Mhm" she hummed out "you can press the button Tony. Do you know which one you gotta press?" Tony shook his head no and she huffed affectionately and smiled at him.

"You gotta press this one" She said softly as she pointed to a button. Tony hovered his finger over it and looked at her to see if she approved, she nodded at him so he pressed it and looked back to her and she smiled. "Good job bud." She said encouragingly and it made Tony's stomach do the butterfly's again, he had done good! Tony loved it when he did good, Daddy almost never told him he was good so it felt great to hear.

He smiled happily as the elevator descended, he could hear the others whispering but he didn't really care, he hummed a little song that Jarvis would sing to him as the elevator went down and down and down...
