It was a typical Friday evening, and Y/N decided to stop by McDonald's after a long day. The craving for golden fries and a Big Mac couldn't be ignored. As they pushed the door open, the warm smell of fries and the faint buzz of chatter hit them immediately. The place wasn't too crowded, just enough people enjoying their meals, but one person in particular caught their attention.

Sitting near the window was someone familiar, their fingers tapping away on a phone. Y/N blinked a few times, trying to place the face. Then it hit them—RoyaltyIsHere, the streamer they'd been following for months! The streamer who always had a calm, charismatic energy and a voice that could turn anything into pure gold. Their favorite YouTuber, right there, casually eating a burger.

It took a second for Y/N to realize they'd been staring a bit too long, and just as they were about to break eye contact, RoyaltyIsHere looked up. Their eyes met for the briefest second. Y/N blushed hard, quickly looking down at the menu, trying to pretend like they hadn't just been caught.

"Hey, are you going to order?" The voice from behind the counter snapped them out of their daze. Y/N stammered an order and stepped aside to wait for their food, heart still racing. Why did they have to make it so awkward?

Minutes passed, and Y/N was just about to sit down at a table when they heard a voice behind them. "Mind if I join you?"

Y/N turned around, and there stood RoyaltyIsHere with a tray in hand and a small, friendly smile on their face. "You looked like you could use some company."

"Oh! Uh, yeah, sure! I mean, if you want to..." Y/N felt a flush of heat rise to their cheeks. Please don't act weird, they thought.

RoyaltyIsHere slid into the seat across from them, setting their tray down. "I'm Royalty, by the way. But I guess you already know that." They gave a small laugh, brushing a strand of hair out of their face.

Y/N chuckled nervously. "Yeah, I uh... I follow your streams. Big fan, actually."

RoyaltyIsHere grinned. "I could tell. Your face kinda gave it away when you walked in."

Y/N's heart skipped a beat. "Great. I'm officially a dork," they muttered under their breath.

"No, not at all," Royalty said with a laugh. "I mean, hey, I'm just a regular person grabbing McDonald's, right? Just like you."

The conversation flowed easily after that. They talked about everything—games, life, and random little things about McDonald's (apparently, Royalty had a strong opinion about dipping fries in milkshakes, which Y/N found hilarious). The more they talked, the more comfortable Y/N felt. Royalty wasn't just the charming streamer they admired online; they were down-to-earth, funny, and surprisingly easy to talk to.

As the night went on, neither of them seemed in any rush to leave. Eventually, Royalty leaned back in their chair, stretching a little. "You know, I don't usually do this, but... you seem cool. And we're clearly vibing. Want to maybe hang out again sometime? Outside of McDonald's, I mean."

Y/N blinked, trying to process what had just been said. "Wait, are you asking me out?" they asked, half-joking, half-hopeful.

RoyaltyIsHere smirked, leaning forward a little. "Maybe I am. What do you think?"

Y/N felt their heart race again, but this time it wasn't from nerves—it was excitement. "I think I'd like that."

Royalty grinned, that familiar warmth in their eyes. "Cool. Let's start with coffee, then work our way up to, I don't know, the fanciest McDonald's we can find."

Y/N laughed, feeling lighter than they had all day. "Deal."

As they both got up to leave, RoyaltyIsHere paused, looking at Y/N. "By the way, what's your name? Can't keep calling you McDonald's fan."

Y/N smiled. "It's Y/N."

"Well, Y/N, it's a date."

From that night on, Y/N and RoyaltyIsHere found themselves spending more and more time together. What started as a chance meeting over fries and burgers turned into something real. And soon, every time Y/N logged into one of Royalty's streams, they couldn't help but smile, knowing they weren't just another viewer anymore.

They were something more.
