Hello, hello!

As you see this is a new story! I haven't finished my other one, but I'm kind of not into its show anymore, so I plan to at least do this. Knowing me, I'm somehow gonna get back into the phase where I continue writing it pretty quickly.

And to all the people who read one of my stories for the first time, hello and welcome! I'm an author who's kinda new to writing, and my first language is German and not English, so I'd appreciate any feedback you could give me. Be it pointing out grammar mistakes or just cool ideas. Criticism is also welcome, within reason of course. I write for the sake of my own entertainment, and to enhance my English skills, so don't expect frequent updates. I literally just write when I'm too bored to do anything else, or if I feel the urge to.

A huge inspiration were the stories "Murder Drones: Unforeseen Consequences" by WhisperingWells and "Disconnect" by Hister_Visk. Both are great! If you're bored waiting for another chapter of this story, check theirs out!

Now to the premise of this story. As you probably know from the title and the description, as well as the cover, this is a fanfiction about the YouTube series Murder Drones, which was uploaded on the Glitch channel, with Liam Vickers as the creator, director, and writer. (You don't know how long I tried to add links to this, but Wattpad doesn't want me to. Just search up the names on YouTube and you'll find them.) This is the last chance to watch it if you haven't, I won't take responsibility if you get spoiled.

I want to challenge myself to write original chapters with this one, and maybe even learn to add some pictures. Don't count on the second one though.

This start went on for way too long so... without further ado, let's get into the first chapter!

You and a dear friend of yours were currently looking out of a window on a moon base, seeing a now completely destroyed Earth. It had some sort of black hole in the middle, and a yellow substance, which was presumably the Earth's core once, stopping the big pieces of Earth from growing further apart. Shortly before all that the entirety of Earth was covered by a hexagon shape with three lines, each having arrow-type endings, coming out of it, which ultimately ripped it apart.

You and your friend knew the cause of this, but you couldn't have imagined that it'd lead to... this...

???: "Bloody hell..."

Y/N: "Jeez... Talk about a mass extinction event..."

...

But how did this even happen? Well, let's go back to the true beginning.

...|4 years and 9 days until the Fall of Earth.|...

Sounds of keyboard presses echoed through your room, which was pretty dark and only illuminated by the light of your two monitors. The window also didn't let through any light from the outside because of the German roller shutter. Then, the person who was operating the computer, you, stopped typing, seemingly being done with whatever you were doing, and leaned back to stretch. Now looking at the bottom right of your second monitor, you see that it was already 7 am.

(Hello, Author here. Since you're from Germany in this story, I'll make you talk and think German for the duration you're there. But of course, not everyone can read German, so I'll write the English sentence like this-> ["Text"] or this-> [(Thought)]. Hope that's okay. If you don't like it, let me know.)
