Shane had been dating Max for nearly a year when Max proposed to him. Soon they were married and now Shane was wondering when they would become intimate.

Max would always give Shane a kiss before he left to either tend to the farm or go to the mines, which Shane highly disliked when he put himself in danger's way, but he craved more than just that. Was that wrong?

He couldn't shake the feeling that he would be pressuring Max into something he didn't want, especially since the farmer had made no move to initiate any form of intimacy.

Shane laid awake in bed, staring up at the ceiling for some time. He could hear Max's soft snores next to him, a sound that would usually lull him to sleep. Tonight though? He just couldn't catch a break.

Shane wanted nothing more than to wake Max up and tell him how he felt, but Max hadn't been getting a lot of sleep lately and waking him up when he finally was seemed rude. So, Shane continued to stare, bothered by all of the thoughts rapidly running through his head. He fidgeted, rustling the blankets as he shifted onto his side to look at Max. He could just barely make out his husband's features in the dark of the room. His hair wasn't in a pony tail like normal, rather framing his face like a halo as it reflected the moonlight softly. Shane could see the curve of his nose and his jaw. The thought of kissing him there passed through Shane's mind and he flushed red, turning away to look at the ceiling once again, hands covering the lower half of his face.

Would it be so bad to wake him up? Shane frowned. "Yoba..." he muttered softly, voice just below a whisper. Max mumbled something in his sleep, hand searching around the bed until he touched Shane's side. Max shifted over until he was halfway on top of Shane, one arm across his chest and one leg hooked with his own.

Shane stiffened, turning into the touch to hold onto Max tightly. "I love you, Max."

Max smiled in his sleep, tucking his face into Shane's neck.

Shane hadn't gotten a wink of sleep. He wanted to fidget until he was comfortable, but Max prevented him from doing so with his ironclad grip. He simply sighed and watched as Max slowly woke up.

"Mornin'," Max smiled, pressing a soft kiss to Shane's lips.

"Good morning, honey," Shane smiled, voice relaying how tired he was.

Max seemed to notice, "What's wrong?"

"Just didn't get a lot of sleep last night... I kept thinking about things," Shane said eyes drooping as he pressed his face into Max's chest. Max ran his fingers through Shane's hair.

"Want to talk about it?"

"I... well..."

Max ran a hand up and down Shane's back in a soothing manner, patiently waiting for Shane to speak.

"Nah..."

Max smiled, "Okay. You can always talk to me if you want to, Shane."

"I know," he mumbled.

"Well, I have to get up now. I'll be out late so get whatever you want for dinner," Max said, sitting up. Shane momentarily stretched his arm out as if to actually ask his question and get Max to stay, but decided against it, tucking his hand back into his chest.

"Okay," Shane replied, rolling over to face the wall.

Max sighed, walking over to face Shane, kissing him on the forehead, "I love you."

"Love you too," Shane smiled, trying to get some sleep as he heard Max close the front door.

Shane got up shortly after, deciding that trying to get some sleep was a waste of time. He wandered into the bathroom, rubbing the lack of sleep out of his eyes as he ran a hot shower. As he stripped down, he caught a glance of himself in the mirror, noticing the weight he had gained. His stomach was fatter than it had been and Shane frowned at the sight. He looked down at his dick... ugly and small as it laid limp against his thick thighs.
