"No stop!" I was chained up to a wall with the chains on my wrists, ankles, and around my neck. This was worse than the torture I was given earlier. This was so much more worse that I didn't even feel the gashes in my skin that were inflicted by one of the demons. "Please stop! Kill me! Don't kill them!" I was forced to watch as five other demons held back all my loved ones; Cas, Mimi, Bal, Sam, and Dean.
"Nah, we're good. We enjoy watching you suffer. Now, who should we kill first?" The main demon that was talking stood behind Cas with an angel blade at his throat. "How about this little angel here?"
"Cas! Leave him alone you asshole!" I felt more and more tears build up in my eyes. I knew I wouldn't be able to hold them back much longer.
"No? Not this angel? Then how about the younger Winchester?" The demon behind Sam yanked Sam's hair roughly which caused Sam to groan in pain. An angel blade at his throat as well.
"Sam! You touch my brother and I fucking kill ya!" Dean struggled against the demon that was holding him.
"I'll probably kill you before you kill me Winchester." The demon sneered and cut Dean's cheek which caused me to scream out at Dean's safety.
"I know the two that would break you into a million pieces." The head demon took hold of Mimi and Balthazar. "Your sister and-"
"Pumpkin?" Balthazar's soothing, accented voice pulled me from the nightmares that my mind tormented me with. "Are you awake Pumpkin?"
Rolling over frantically, I was able to look Balthazar in his eyes and see that he was safe and everything I thought was happening was fake. The torture, the blood, the pain, and the soon to be deaths were all fake. "It was just a dream..." I looked around my surroundings and found that I was back in the motel room with Mimi, Sam, and Dean. All of which were very much alive. "Oh thank God! I-I thought I lost all of you!" I broke down the instant I wrapped my arms around Bal. "T-the demons w-were going to k-kill you! And I couldn't do anything to help any of you!" My words came out as incoherent rambles that I would be surprised if Balthazar understood a single word that just left my lips.
"Shh, Shh. Like you said it was a dream Darling. I'm fine, the moose and squirrel are fine, your sister is fine, and Cassie is too. Nothing will get to you I promise you." Balthazar was holding me close to him as he tried to calm my hysterics, my irrational fears. "No one will hurt you. You'll be safe in my arms."
Balthazar and I just laid in the bed wrapped up together in a bundle once more but this time I was wrapped up in both his strong arms and his dark grey wings. His wings gave me a comfort I have never felt before and that comfort was slowly lulling me to a sleep that I knew I needed.
"Cee?" Through my sleep I felt someone gently shake me. "Cee, c'mon you gotta get up. We need to head out for this hunt soon!" I quickly registered the person that was trying to wake me was my sister. "Don't make me tell them what you did when you were 13 when we were camping!"
"Motherfucker I dare you" I grumbled out once I was finally awake. Little known fact, I'm not that much of a morning person, I was always a night owl.
"Then get up!"
"What does it look like I'm doing Mimi?"
"Still laying there." This was a normal occurrence for us and I was glad to see that it would never leave us.
I sighed while shaking my head. "One of these days I swear." The moment I got up and off the bed was also the moment I realized Balthazar wasn't anywhere to be seen. After momentarily looking at the blank space where Balthazar once was laying next to me hours ago, I found a single dark grey feather. Instantly I knew it was one of Balthazar's feathers. As carefully as I could (i feared the feather was going to wither away for some reason), I picked up the feather and began look around for a leather cord. Luckily enough I found one in my bag and began to tie on the feather to the cord so I'd have his feather as a necklace.
