It was still ten in the morning when they got back to the office.

"Let's discuss what we knew today." Surprisingly, Kei opened the door for Shoyo who was humbled and hurriedly went in.

"We've grown closer during the assessment. Turns out our pheromones aligned themselves to match each other. Good thing it also advanced our classes. Now, I want to give it a try, will you be willing to try it with me?" He asked gently.

"But Sir... I feel... unworthy." Shoyo, for the first time in his life, felt unsure.

He came from a humble family. They were not that well off, but not so poor either. They even live near the mountain. Compared to the boss, what has he got?

"If not you, who else can match me? Besides, I never felt any resistance to you as an Omega. Have you ever felt any indifference since the day we met?"

"No, Sir. You have always been pleasant towards me as a boss."

"So...?"

Shoyo looked into Kei's serious and deep gaze. He felt so warm and fuzzy but he can't assess his feelings now. He has always been a resolute person. Alphas never bothered him and now he feels something pleasant towards Kei. Therefore he cannot tell if his feelings are true.

"Sir... maybe... we can try." He paused. After a few seconds, he resolutely answered, "Okay, Sir. Let's see where this will take us."

"Okay good. I promise I will take care of you. I will pursue you as an Alpha should. And I will shower you with Alpha calming pheromones for half an hour every morning so you're in your stable state every day. This will also stabilize mine."

He stood up and said in front of Shoyo.

"I'm not rushing you. Things already happened and more things will happen between the two of us. If it's about the two of us, do not hesitate to be honest with me. If you're comfortable, happy, confused... whatever bothers you, tell me."

"Okay, Sir..."

"Kei.  Call me Kei."

"How can I do that?"

Kei chuckled, "Start now. Say it. Call me by my name."

"K—Kei..."  Shoyo smiled shyly.

"Good job."

After two months, the two were exclusively dating, not to mention, they were never with any other person before.  So everything is new. A test. A beginning.

As an Alpha, it's Kei's first time to pursue an Omega and a love interest. He's a completely different person when with Shoyo. He's doting and attentive to his needs.

Shoyo, who was an independent and strong Omega, had to let go of his vigilance and enjoy being pursued, served, and taken care of by an Alpha.

On Monday morning, Kei let Shoyo lean on his chest while they were sitting on the sofa. Kei just finished showering Shoyo with pheromones...

"Shoyo, I noticed your pheromones were now richer.  I think it's about 30% more distinguishable now.  I also think your heat is coming."

"I noticed too.  Is it affecting you?"

"Of course it is.  I like it."

Kei pinched Shoyo's chin and gently pulled him closer. Kei kissed his lips.

Maybe due to pheromones, or just maybe they were now attracted to each other, they ended up making out early in the morning.  Shoyo ended up being pressed on the couch by Kei's toned body and another hard thing below.

When Kei felt that they were getting unscrupulous, slowly sat down and hugged Shoyo.

In just a few seconds, Shoyo felt a different kind of calming pheromones.  One that calms desire.

"Is that like, a new ability after you leveled up?"

"Yes, I think so... can you try releasing if you can give me some too?"

"How do I do that?"

"Try thinking of calming yourself first, then release some of yours."

So a scent of refreshing rain and Kei's fruity pheromones merged early in the morning, claiming both parties.

"Oh, I can do it too!" Shoyo hugged Kei.

Kei, suddenly felt the time was right. He hugged Shoyo back and tried to propose the gentlest way possible.

"Shoyo, I don't wanna scare you but I have never been so much sure in my entire life.  I've never had an Omega, not attracted by any pheromone nor by beauty. But when I met you, I knew something was different.  Then I picked up the scent of your pheromone. It changed me. Us. And we're matched perfectly. This may be too soon but I want you to be my legally official Omega to the world."

Kei pulled a palm-sized velvet box from the drawer on the corner table beside the couch they were sitting on.  He opened it and inside were two platinum men's rings with one diamond embedded in it.

"I love you. Will you be mine, and can you accept me as your Alpha?"

Shoyo burst into tears.  Because of his upcoming heat, which has become intense in the past few months, his emotions were heightened as well.

"Yes, Kei.  Yes, wholeheartedly! Put it in, quick!" Shoyo also pulled Kei's hand and put the ring on his finger.

"Now for your heat..." Kei has another concern but cut off by Shoyo.

"Do you want to help me? You have great control, but do you think, it will trigger your rut?"

"Yes, I want to be there to help you. I think I can manage not to go into a rut."

"What if I tell you I'm willing?"
