- Except this is revolving more around love than the original 

- I mostly just took inspiration of the one line 'The worst thing that could ever happen to him happened, he became normal'

Kai - The Lost Artist

Age: 24Appearance: Tall and lean, with a mop of curly dark hair and hazel eyes. Often dresses in oversized, comfortable clothing. Has a slightly disheveled, artistic look.Backstory: Kai has been passionate about art since he was a child. He attended art school and has been pursuing his dream of becoming a successful artist. His relationship with Asher was his first serious, long-term romance.Personality: Introspective, sensitive, and creative. When inspired, Kai's art is full of raw emotion and energy. However, after the breakup, he has become withdrawn, self-critical, and struggles with depression. He doubts his abilities as an artist.Goal: To rediscover his love and passion for art, and overcome the crippling self-doubt that has consumed him since the breakup with Asher.Conflict: Kai is trapped in a cycle of negative self-talk and creative paralysis. He feels lost without Asher and is unsure if he has the strength to move forward on his own.

Asher - The Long-Gone Boyfriend

Age: 26Appearance: Confident and well-put-together, with dark hair and piercing blue eyes. Dresses in a stylish, almost effortless manner.Backstory: Asher and Kai were together for 5 years, practically inseparable. Asher had a stable, corporate job that provided for them both, while Kai pursued his artistic ambitions. The relationship ended abruptly, though the reasons are not yet clear.Personality: Mature, driven, and somewhat reserved. Asher comes across as poised and in control. However, underneath the surface, he still cares deeply for Kai and feels guilt over the way things ended between them.Goal: Asher has moved on with his life, including a new relationship with Cameron. But a part of him still wonders about Kai and whether he made the right decision to end their long-term relationship.Conflict: Asher struggles with the lingering feelings he has for Kai, even as he tries to focus on his new life and relationship. He wonders if he made a mistake, but is unsure of how to approach Kai after so much time has passed.
