Upon returning to Yuxiu Pavilion, Ye Yun was surprised to find Ning Chen there.

Seeing her enter, he went over and took her hand.

"Your hands are warm today. Where did you go?"

"I took a stroll in the Imperial Garden. These maidens were so careful, bringing along the hot stove and blankets as if we were moving," Ye Yun replied with a smile as Ning Chen led her to sit on the small couch. "Being cautious is good; you are in a serious condition now, so you can't be careless at all."

He didn't say anything about her not being allowed to go out, as Imperial Physician Zhang had already advised her to avoid lying down all the time and to get some exercise; otherwise, the delivery would be difficult.

Ye Yun nodded and took a few sips of warm milk that Nanzhi handed her.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Ning Chen asked, puzzled.

Upon hearing this, Ye Yun smiled helplessly at the two maidens beside her.

"See? I told you I've been eating too well and too much, but you didn't believe me. Now that the physician is saying the same thing, I suppose I must eat less."
