Kashvi's pov~~

As he came and laid on my lap, his deep eyes locked with mine, and he softly said, "What did I do, Pearl?"

I tried to keep my face neutral, but my heart was racing. "Nothing," I replied, my voice quieter than I intended.

He raised an eyebrow, a teasing smirk playing on his lips. "So, you're angry because I did nothing?" His voice had a playful edge to it.

Before I could protest, he leaned in closer, his tone dropping lower. "Okay then, let me do something..."

"Really aan", i said.

"So, first tell me why are you angry?"

I huffed, trying to look anywhere but at him. "Because of this," I said, pointing to the faint mark on my neck.

He grinned, his eyes darkening with amusement. "Oh, that..."

"Ishika and Ivaan saw it," I muttered, embarrassed. "They were teasing me non-stop. What if the whole family had been here?"

He chuckled, clearly not bothered by the thought. "Let them see. They should know you're mine."

I glared at him, my frustration rising. "It's not funny! I was embarassed!"

"Then next time, I'll leave it somewhere they can't see."

Before I could react, he slowly lifted himself up, his face inches from mine. The warmth of his breath brushed against my skin as his hand gently trailed along my cheek. My heart pounded, but I didn't move, trapped by the intensity in his eyes.

He leaned in closer, his lips brushing the side of my neck as he whispered, "Still angry?"

"Yes," I replied, trying to sound firm, but the way he held me made it hard to keep my resolve.

His grip tightened, and he leaned back slightly, eyes locking with mine. "Then I guess I'll have to make it up to you." His voice was low, teasing, as if he knew exactly what he was doing to me.

"Let me see how long you can stay angry," he said.

He stood up abruptly, and before I could react, he lifted me into his arms as if I weighed nothing.

"Put me down!" I protested, trying to wiggle free, but his grip only tightened, and he carried me effortlessly towards the dining table.

"Aan, I'm serious!" I said, still trying to push against his chest. He didn't even flinch.

"Nope," he replied calmly, completely ignoring my protests as though they were just background noise.

I sighed in defeat, realizing there was no point in fighting.
