As I stood before the Kim Company, a mix of emotions swirled within me.
Pride stirred, acknowledging the company's influence and power.
Yet, darkness crept in, like shadows cast by the building's towering spire. Grey skies above seemed to mirror my turbulent thoughts.
Fear whispered warnings, cautioning me against the unknown.
Mystery shrouded my heart, an enigmatic veil obscuring my true feelings.
An unknown emotion simmered, refusing to be named. It was as if the company's presence awakened a deep, long-dormant part of me.
My chest tightened, my breath catching in anticipation. The Kim Company's presence was both captivating and unnerving.
What secrets lay hidden within its walls? And why did I feel an inexplicable connection to this place?
My thoughts twisted, lost in the labyrinth of my own emotions.
Ugh, that devil's words still fucking ringing in my mind like a bad rash that bastard.
"The consequence won't be gentle" I muttered, rolling my eyes so hard they almost got stuck.
Seriously, who says that? The Devil himself?
I pictured Taehyung's smug face, those piercing gaze and chiseled features that seemed carved by the gods themselves or the devil, more like.
"Fucking Gentle?"More like "creepy- explosive, dangerous, and guaranteed to drive me crazy.
Why did I even care? Tae's possessiveness should've been laughable, but instead, it sparked a flutter in my chest.
Shaking my head, I pushed open the Kim Company's gleaming doors, ready to face whatever lay within - except Taehyung's ego.
Let's hope today doesn't involve too many encounters with His Devilship.
Time to put on my "I'm-not-intimidated" face and conquer this building, Tae's haunting words notwithstanding.
Yn stepped into the sleek lobby, her heels clicking on the polished marble. She approached the reception desk, where a girl with piercing green eyes and raven-black hair sat, her expression frosty.
"Can I help you?" the girl asked curtly.
"Hi, I'm lee Yn," she replied warmly, extending her hand. "I'm the new recruit."
The girl's gaze lingered on Yn's outstretched hand before shaking it briefly. "Kang Lily. You're expected."
Yn's smile never wavered. "Thanks for helping me, Miss Lily."
Lily checked her screen, her expression unyielding. "You have an appointment with ceo on the 23rd floor."
"Thanks so much!" Yn's enthusiasm seemed to chip away at Lily's icy demeanor.
"Elevators are down the hall," Lily said, her voice softening slightly.
As Yn turned to leave, she asked, "don't disrespect the ceo he is very cold and can do anything"
Yn chuckled. "Appreciate the advice."
Lily's gaze locked onto Yn's, a hint of warning in her eyes. "Be careful around here."
Yn's curiosity piqued. "Why?"
Lily hesitated before leaning in. "Mr. Kim... can be difficult."
Yn's reassuring smile put Lily at ease. "Don't worry, I'll be fine."
