Amy and Tails had left to get Blaze and go on their "important trip", which left me alone with Shadow.

Lovely, I know.

Shadow was on the couch, scrolling on something, I couldn't help but feel curious as to what it was he was looking at, so I scrabbled over to the couch and jumped, using my teeny tiny claws to hook onto the fabric of the couch and crawled upward.

I peered over and saw that he was texting someone.

I squinted my tiny eyes, I think it said it was . . . uh . . . Rouge? Well I suppose that makes sense.

'But why do I have to watch the creature? Cant Amy or tails do it?'

'Hun, Amy and Tails are off with Blaze on an important trip, besides it'll give you a chance to do you know what'

'FOR THE LAST FUCKING TIME ROUGE, ITS NOT LIKE THAT'

'If you say so doll'

'O shut up'

'Nope'

'Seriously?'

'Haha relax Shadow its not like im gonna tell him'

'Theres nothing to tell'

'Well...'

'Rouge'

'Ugh fine whatever'

'Bye'

'Bye'

He huffed and leaned his head back, it collided with me and I nearly fell off the arm of the couch, he wipped around and I heard a faint growl.

"Ugh what the hell faker?!" He hissed at me.

I tilted my head to the side in an innocent manner, and he narrowed his eyes at me.

"How much of that did you see?" He growled through gritted teeth, I shrugged, putting my tiny paws up as if to say 'not too much.' He glared at me and stood up, stretching.

A few specs of dust flew up from the couch as he stood up, and I sneezed in a very undignified manner. Shadow seemed to almost laugh, but ended up coughing instead, as if he was trying to hide the fact that he thought me sneezing was funny. Not that it was.

I scowled at him and he returned the look, before walking away into the kitchen. I squeaked and scrambled after him.

He opened my fridge, grabbed the grape jelly in there, then closed it and went to grab the peanut butter and some bread.

He put the sandwich together pretty quickly, glanced at me, then tore off a peice and dropped it in my direction.

I fumbled; trying to grab it and managing to catch it just before it touched the floor. Phew.

I popped the whole peice in my mouth, chewing as the sticky substances glued themselves to the roof and sides of my mouth. I followed Shadow back to the-my, I should say. After all he didn't live here-living room.

Shadow ate his sandwich rather quickly, clearly trying to finish it in a hurry. I leaped onto the-my, jeez what the hell-couch.

I sat at the opposite end of it from Shadow, and he was back to scrolling on some social, I grabbed the TV remote that was sitting on the arm of my couch, pressed the 'ON' button with my whole palm-that's how tiny my hand is-and the TV turned on.

Shadow jumped, I stiffled a laugh because it had been hilarious to watch the "Ultimate Lifeform" get scared for a second. He shot me a glare and I stared back innocently.

I clicked on Netflix and turned on Heartstopper-what? It's a good show, plus there's the fact that Nick Nelson was bisexual, like me, which had only made me love this show even more.

Season three had just came out on Netflix, and I was quite eager to see what would happen next.

Shadow kept scrolling, but after a while he ended up watching the show with me.

When the last episoad ended, (yes I binged through the whole season, don't judge me) it was very dark out, I yawned and curled up into a little ball, I heard Shadow cough, and I figured that I should probably show him the guest room.

So, I hopped off of my-oh fuck it the-couch, squeaked at Shadow, waving my tiny arms around, and scrambled off towards the guest room.

Shadow, with a questioning look, followed me and peered into the room, shrugged, and walked in. He got into the bed and I scrambled back out to the living room, then realized: how the hell am I gonna get into my bedroom?

I scrabbled back to the guest room, squabbled and quacked at Shadow until he sat up and glared at me, I tried to make motions with my little arms to tell him that I needed him to open my bedroom door for me.

He stood up, and I felt a spark of hope, had he understood?

But instead, he picked me up, tilted his head to the side in confution, and put my on the pillow of the bed, then faced the opposite way so his back was to me, and pulled the blanket over his shoulder.

Maybe he didn't realize that this was a guest room, and had assumed that this was my room? And that I was letting him sleep in here? As if.

A while passed, until I sigh-squeaked and curled up on the pillow.

God this room was cold.

I glanced at Shadow, who was now breathing deeply, probably asleep.

I carfully padded across the pillow and onto the mattress, praying he wouldn't wake up, and curled up next to Shadow's shoulder. He was sleeping on his stomach, his head was facing towards me, and when I curled up to sleep, I felt his arm curl around me, pulling me closer to him.

Hmm, who knew the Ultimate Lifeform liked cuddling.
