Melissa's POV

I walk upstairs as discreetly as humanly possible, smiling at Travis and Aph stealing food from the guys' kitchen. Hospital food does suck, so...

"Lissa, you're early," Ghost, er Emmalyn, berates me.

"You think I want to lead them on? It's a surprise party. Besides, who woudn't wanna be home aft-"

Aaron puts his hand over my mouth before saying, "Don't aysay anythingyay inyay ontfray ofyay enegay, anteday, andyay aurancelay!" (A/n: If you wanna know, that sentence says "Don't say anything in front of Gene, Dante, and Laurance.")

I sigh.

"All right, everyone, get in positions," Lucinda chirps, grabbing my arm to lead me downstairs. My cheeks heat from the gesture. The smirk Zane shoots me doesn't help my flustered state.

Stop giving me looks whose meanings I don't understand!!!

When we come down, we find Aphmau drinking water while Travis noms on frozen cheesecake.

"My cheesecake," Garroth pouts.

"Hello to you too," Travis quips sarcastically.

"Seven months and that's how you react?" Aph questions. "'Cuz hospital food sucks. Thought you'd know that."

"Hospital?" Laurance, Dante, and Gene all sport identical quizzical expressions.

"You guys can leave now," Zane smiles at the three, "We have something to discuss with those two."

Zane glared until the trio left, grumbling about being left in the dark or something.

*time skip 'cuz I'm lazy*

So, basically, the two parties caught up, hugged, and stuff, because.

"Guys," Kawaii-Chan starts, "I have something important to tell you!"

"Kawaii-Chan has a surgery coming up in two days time because they found a 'rock' in her torso," Katelyn finishes.

A shadow crosses Zane's face, "Garroth..."

"Meep..."  Garroth squeaks, which sounds very weird because he's a full grown adult for f*** sake, plus he's got that... interesting voice of his...

"You're dead," Zane threatens his brother in his most Eriky voice ever before chasing the blond down all over the house.

"Remind me to never get on Zane's bad side," Kim sweat-drops.
