*Prologue*

Harry approached his school, a great sinking feeling in his heart. Another day. Another day without friends. Another day being ridiculed. Another day that he would sit by himself in the lunch room.

But a part of Harry told him that today would be different. He pushed the thought away. No, why would today be any different? Nobody cared. Nobody ever has. Nobody ever will.

He warily approached the large double doors that entered the school. He pulled one open and stepped inside. He was met with the stench of cafeteria food and sweat. Oh, the perks of high school.

Harry went through his first few classes the same way he always had. Sitting quietly in the back, never speaking, never raising a hand. When the bell rang for lunch, Harry rushed out the door.

He had only gone a few feet before-CRASH-he collided with another body, sending his books flying everywhere.

"M'sorry..." Harry muttered. He looked up into a pair of unfamiliar eyes. He stepped back and got a good look at the person he had knocked over.

"Harry right?" Louis asked.

Harry found no words. So he nodded awkwardly. Louis smiled. "I'm Louis."

Louis began to walk alongside Harry. He asked him questions which Harry replied to in a small voice. Louis seemed fascinating to Harry, and the same thought was going on in Louis' head.

For the next few weeks, Louis would walk with Harry between classes. They became closer and Harry became more comfortable around Louis.

One day, Louis failed to show up to their walk to first period. Harry walked alone, sad and quiet. But when he reached the class, he stopped in his tracks. Louis was standing in the middle of the class waiting. Harry felt angry. Had Louis gotten tired of him? Had Harry said something to upset him? The other students stared between The two, sensing something odd. Louis began to walk towards Harry at a quick pace. Harry winced.

But, instead of a punch to the gut or hurtful insult, a pair of lips crashed into his. Harry melted into the kiss, their heads and lips moving in rhythm with one another. Louis pulled away.

"Is your Chapstick strawberry or watermelon?" Harry giggled.

"Cherry, on fact," Louis licked his lips and then was back to kissing Harry full force,
