this is Dazzle, Crystal's best friend (other than Flurry Heart) he's like the spike for crystal. He is a species called a guardian dog that crystal found on the street as a puppy, and raised him as her own, eventually he went back to canterlot to be with princess celestia. He will show up later in the story.
