Chapter Seven - The Hell Pits

After Team JNPR was separated, Ren and Nora were dragged out of the dungeons and deeper within the Hell Pit to be experimented on. But as Throt The Unclean and his Skaven from Clan Moulder were dragging Ren and Nora to the flesh laboratories, Team RWBY arrived to attack Throt The Unclean and the Clan Moulder Skaven.

Throt The Unclean: KILL THE NO-FURS!

The Skaven of Clan Moulder screeched as they charged at Team RWBY. Team RWBY were able to form up and take down the Skaven. 

Ruby: Let our friends go! 

Throt The Unclean says nothing as loud and heavy footsteps were heard. Before Team RWBY could react, a group of Rat Orges led by Ghoritch roared. 

Yang: Oh not good.....

Throt The Unclean: KILL-KILL! 

The Rat Ogres roared as they charged at Team RWBY. Team WERE were taken aback by the hulking Rat abominations that were now trying to kill them. During the chaotic fight, Yang activates her Burn Semblance and lands a powerful punch followed by a shot from Ember Celica, stunning the Rat Ogre. Ruby attempts to move to take down the stunned Rat Ogre, but Throt The Unclean wraps his whip around Ruby's leg and pulls her to the ground. He then brings his Creature-Killer on Ruby's neck, setting her up to have her neck snapped. Ruby managed to grab Crescent Rose and land a smack on the Skaven Lord's face, freeing herself in the process. As Ruby gets up, she manages to free Ren and Nora. 

Ruby: Are you alright?! 

As Ruby asked, Nora grabbed Magnhild from the ground and lands a powerful strike on a Rat Ogre, knocking it out. As Ren and Nora join they fight, they were able to slowly but surely whittle down the Rat Ogres until it came down to Throt The Unclean and Ghoritch. 

Throt The Unclean: Ghoritch! Kill-kill the No-Furs!

Ghoritch: Yes-yes!

Ghoritch roars as he slams his fist to the ground, scattering Team RWBY as well as Ren and Nora. Nora uses her High Voltage Semblance to charge up Magnhild and lands a strike on Ghoritch's face, stunning him. Yang then steps in and lands several punches on the Rat Ogre's stomach while Ren fires both of his StormFlower weapons at Ghoritch as well as Throt The Unclean, but the Rat Ogre sweeps both of them away with his fists. 

Weiss: That giant rat is going to be a problem! 

Nora: Who cares?! I want payback! 

Blake: We need to....

Nora screams as she lashes out at Ghoritch, landing several strikes on the Rat Ogre. Ghoritch grabs Nora and prepares to rip her in two, but Team RWBY launched a coordinated attack on Ghoritch, slowly getting the upper hand on the Rat Ogre. But Throt The Unclean then takes the attack on Ruby. 

Ruby: We're not letting you hurt our friends!

Throt The Unclean: I'll gut-gut you, No-Fur!

As Throt The Unclean attacked Ruby with both a blade and his Creature-Killer, the young Huntress was barely able to hold her own against the Skaven Lord. Ruby could quickly see that she and her friends were outmatched by the Skaven Lord and the Rat Ogre. Without hesitation, Ruby fires a shot at the ceiling, causing the brick and mortar ceiling to collapse. Team RWBY as well as Ren and Nora managed to get away from Throt The Unclean and Ghoritch as the way was blocked. 

Yang: Giant rats.....that's new. 

Nora: HEY! I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU, YOU BIG UGLY RAT!

Suddenly, a hole was punched in the debris, prompting Team RWBY as well as Ren and Nora run away, putting considerable distance between themselves and Clan Moulder. Once they were away, everyone takes a moment to catch their breath. 

Ruby: Is everyone okay?

Ren: We're....we're in rough shape, but.....

Nora: Those ugly rats got Jaune and Pyrrha!

Yang: Then we have to go back! They could be....

Ren: No. They.....they weren't with the Ratmen we just fought. After we were dragged here, a couple of Ratmen came by. They....they had this....putrid stench.....like death. 

Blake: What do you mean? 

Nora: One of them looked like the biggest and ugliest Naked Mole Rat. He....he took Jaune and Pyrrha to be sacrificed!

Upon hearing this, Team RWBY were shocked to hear about this. They quickly realized that Jaune and Pyrrha were in grave danger.

Blake: Do you know where they were headed? 

Ren: We...we were out of it by that stench, but they had to have come through this way!

Ruby: Then we need to help them!

Ren: Wait! That stench....it practically rendered us unconscious. Even then....we're still suffering from the after effects. 

Nora: Oh we're fine, Ren! When I get my hands on that Rat! I'll....

Nora attempts to run ahead, but dropped to her knees. 

Weiss: You're in no condition to do anything, Nora! 

Ruby: Weiss is right. Let us worry about Jaune and Pyrrha. We'll find them and get them out of here. 

Nora: Damn it! I hate not being able to help! 

Ren: No, Nora. Ruby's right. We're in no condition of being of any help to them. We'd just be getting in the way. Ruby, you and your team go on ahead. Nora and I will find a way out of here. We'll try to make our way to the belltower in the old financial district. 

Ruby: Here. Take this. This should help you find a way out before those Ratmen catch up with you. 

Ren: Just be careful. You don't want to get caught in that stench....

Ruby then hands Ren the map of Mountain Glenn. He and Nora began making their way out of the old sewers while Team RWBY moved to rescue Jaune and Pyrrha from Lord Skrolk and the Skaven of Clan Pestilens.
