Chapter-24

Jungkook's POV

After sleeping for more than 10 hours, the duration of sleep which I would never achieve even after a lot of struggle I woke up in the afternoon.
Since I had rhinitis and other shoulder issues I can't sleep continuously for a long duration but surprisingly I slept for such a long stretch for the first time after ages, I remember sleeping like this when I was in school even before I was a trainee.
I woke up at about 3:45 pm and I felt very fresh and relaxed. I felt very good, I really did need that good sleep.
I got up and then brushed my teeth and took a half body bath and went on to make something for me to eat. I felt so hungry, and needed something immediately.
So I turned on the stove and put the water to boil.
While I was about to unpack the ramen from its cover I got a call from Yoongi hyung.

Hello Jungkook-ah ?

Hey hyung, I'm so surprised to receive a call from you !!! Shouldn't you be sleeping now ?

Huh ? So you're in the state of making fun of me?? Wait I'll deall you once I reach your place!
By the way I called you to tell that all of us our coming to your house and we're buying some fried chicken pizza and drinks for us.

Why so suddenly hyung ? I mean it's been a long time since we all hung out freely so I was just asking.

Hmmm it's a surprise we'll reach there in about an hour I called you to ask if you were home or went out , so tell me you're home right ?

Yeah hyung I'm at home. I was writing songs yesterday and slept only in the morning today and woke up now.
I was feeling so hungry so I was just about to cook ramen for myself. But now since y'all are coming that too with some food and drinks I'll wait I guess.

Hmm better stay at home Jungkook-ah we'll come soon. Ok bye !

Bye hyung come soon I'm already hungry !!!

Call ended

I was actually surprised to see Suga hyung calling me, like he only calls me on my birthday to wish me or only if there is some emergency recording work to be done. But today he called me to ask if I was home he also said the other hyungs are coming that too for a celebration. Immediately I checked if any of our songs reached billboard No. 1 or won any award or if we were nominated for something, but i ended up finding nothing. All the award shows were over about 3 months ago and we had already won about 7 awards approximately in every show and moreover we hadn't released any song recently to hit billboard No. 1 as well.

I was trying to think of any other reasons why the other hyungs were coming over for a celebration. I was beyond curious, I felt good kinda happy but somewhere I felt sad suddenly as if I was gonna miss out on something.
I always trusted my gut feelings and instincts but today I felt weird as if something good and bad were about to happen at the same time.
I felt a bit uneasy.

I shrugged off all those thoughts and decided to wait for hyungs patiently. After about 30 minutes the doorbell rang with great anticipation I took slow and small steps towards the door.

I unlocked the door and welcomed all of them.
All of them went towards the living room and sat down on the couch while Jimin hyung went to the kitchen to bring some plates, glasses and other cutlery. I also joined him and got few bottles of chilled water and kept it on the table where everyone were seated.

With a tight lipped smile I sighed and asked
"What is the celebration for guys ? Tell me atleast now, I'm very curious !"

All the hyungs looked at each other several time and looked at me, they were looking proud while the looked at me i could make out.
But I wanted to know why so I raised and eyebrow and looked at them.
The smiled and hobi hyung said "Congratulations Jungkook-ah you have been chosen as the brand ambassador for Calvin Klein. You're global now brother!"

I was shocked but smiled eventually and said "Ahh really hyung, i can't believe it. I'm really very happy.... Waah it's awesome."

Then Jin hyung said "That's why we are here for a celebration maknae. Even though it should be you who must be treating us to meal we are doing it for you. Now come on let's enjoy and eat. You said you were hungry right ? Come "

Then they chatted for a while and ate the foods while they sipped on their alcohol from time to time.
After about few hours they decided to go live and spent time with the armies for about half an hour while giving out some spoilers here and there.

After we finished the live streaming we all were really exhausted after all the talking and karaoke we did so the hyungs slept in the guestrooms they were comfortable in and I went away to my room.

The uneasiness was still there even after I tried distracting myself multiple time in the evening earlier I couldn't.
But slowly was exhaustion washed over my sleep took over and I slowly drifted off to dreamland where I was at peace comparatively.

Little did he know about the future predicaments.
