"Dadda no leave Marie here." She sobbed out as her 'father' pushed her out of the car. "DADDA NO LEAVE!" Baby Marie cried out as he drove off, out of her sight. She tried her hardest to run after the car but clumsy little Marie tripped on her shoe lace and hit the assfalt.
"Dadda Marie scared," she cried out once again, this time with less energy and less hope of her dadda coming to the rescue. It was dark, and no one was around. She picked herself up and sat on the side of the rode.
Poor little Marie had no clue as to what to do or what was even going on. She was, in fact, a very slow learner. She was confused on how to feel about the situation so she just cried.
All of the sudden, a bell chimed behind her. A tall young man with chocolate curls approached her with a kind simpathitic smile. "Hello little one. Are you lost?" She looked up at his squatted figure, and jumped into his arms, almost taking him down.
Baby Marie cried into his shoulder as the stranger cradled her in his arms. "Its ok baby I'll take care of you. We can find your dad together ok?" She shook her head no. "Why not precious?" She chocked out a sob as she tried to explain the events that took place before he came to save the day.
"Ok baby, I'll just... I'll just take you home until I know what to do." In Harry's, the young strangers, mind he had no clue as to what she had just said. She must be petrified. Ok Harry. Stay calm. We can figure this out with Louis once we get home.
Harry coached himself all the way to his car, with poor baby Marie in his arms. "It's ok baby. I've got you." He shushed the child, holding her closer to his body, running his long slender fingers through her curly locks, well, as best he could.
You see, baby Marie, was in fact half black half English. A very rare mix in this small town. She was a very beautiful baby, with ocean blue eyes, and thick curly hair.
Harry was confused as to why her parents would leave such a jewel on the side of the road, let alone a 5 year old! He was so in shock as to why he actually picked up the child and is taking her home!
Louis is going to absolutely kill me. And Harry was right. As soon as he walked through the front door with the baby clinging to his neck, his loving husband gave him the, we will talk later, look to which Harry nodded and tried to set the baby on the ground.
"Marie don't want down. No down. No down. No down." She whines as a few stray tears fell from her eyes. "Hey no tears baby, your safe here. Louis is my husband and he would love to meet you, but you gotta get on the ground first ok?" She held tightly to his neck, but slowly complied and let him go as he set her down. She was confused as to what was going on and where she was or who these people are. "What's your name baby girl?" Louis approached and asked her softly. "Baby Marie. Me baby Marie." She sniffles a little as she clung to Harry's leg. They chuckled at her English, thinking it was absolutely adorable. "Well we have a spare bedroom you could stay in baby Marie, if you'll be ok alone?" Harry asked.
Marie hated to word alone. She dreaded it. She didn't understand much but she did understand what it felt like to be neglected. Shaking her head rapidly, she let a sob escape her small trembling lips. "Harry, babe I think she should sleep with us tonight." Lou looked at his lover as he cradled Marie in his arms. He was upset he brought a child into the home without calling, but he always wanted a child. And he thought it was adorable how easily he made baby Marie giggle. This is my future right here.
Louis was right. This was his future right in front of him. He felt it in his heart and when Harry looked at Louis, the same look was in his eyes. Baby Marie yawned and snuggled closer to Harry's chest. Crying can really take a lot of energy out of a sweet innocent little jewel such as Marie.
