DxD: Tetsuya the Chimera

MC Bio and Harem

[All of this is subject to change as I tweak the story. Tetsuya might stay mostly the same, but the harem is completely up in the air and might change radically over time. This is a preliminary lineup of characters.]

Bio

Name: Tetsuya Kambayashi

Also known as 'Tetsuya the Chimera' in the Underworld.

Age: 18

Tetsuya is a shy, awkward and plain teenager. He is tall, wears round glasses and has messy black hair. After awakening Tpyhongenes and his sacred gear, he no longer needs his glasses and his hair turns to a light shade of blonde that almost looks bleached. He is one of the oldest people in his school year.

Tetsuya loves animals and is an expert on all things biology. His experience and knowledge in the field surpass those several years his elder, and he can often be found with his nose deep in a textbook or with his eyes glued to whatever nature documentaries he can find. Tetsuya is an empathetic person and is especially kind towards animals, even aggressive and wild ones.

Tetsuya's greatest desire is to break free of other people's expectations of him and become more confident. Initially, this manifests as a strong desire to become someone else.

Powers

He was born with a Sealed Sacred Gear, Resplendent Chimera's Sun - which contains the spirit of the original Chimera, Typhongenes. It has two forms. It primarily manifests as an elaborately decorated standard banner that transforms the battlefield into a sweltering hellscape when pushed into the ground. This Chimeric domain increases Tetsuya's power significantly, and can only be stopped by removing it from its resting place during battle. The second form is a flaming bow and arrow.

A combination of Tyhpongene's powers as a Chimera and the devil's natural shapeshifting abilities allow Tetsuya to morph his body in a greater manner than any other devil. He can modify any part of his body so long as he understands the structure he is imitating, meaning he can turn parts of his body into those of an animal.

At first, Tetsuya can only imitate animals from Earth, but he later discovers that he can also copy mythical beasts from the Underworld and beyond - granting him even stronger powers in combat. This adaptability makes him a difficult foe to defeat in battle, as he can utilise his intelligence and knowledge to counteract many different strategies.

Harem (WIP)

Tetsuya is initially resistant to having multiple relationships, but Typhongenes won't shut up about it. The king of the hunt has to boast a pride of beautiful women as his partners - and he won't settle for any less than the best. Tetsuya and Issei have a friendly rivalry over this, with both attempting to one-up the other in pursuit of advancing their respective relationships.

Xenovia

Tetsuya meets Xenovia early on during his time as a devil through Rias and they form a relationship throughout the story.

Raven

While searching for one of the mythical beasts in preparation for the rating game, Tetsuya encounters a powerful Witch, Raven, who is seeking to harvest materials from it. They initially argue over their conflicting view of animals and their use - before Tetsuya assists her in retrieving what she wants without harming it. The cynic in her calls him a fool for risking his life needlessly, but she finds herself drawn to him...

[Multi-cross characters are intended to fit into the setting of DxD. Magic users, devils, angels, deities, yokai etc. I'm open to suggestions along those lines!]
