The shock of Chihiro’s brutal murder still hung heavy in the air as everyone gathered in the gym. Monokuma, ever gleeful, had provided them with their usual tools for investigation. Kuro’s mind was reeling—he couldn’t get the image of Chihiro’s lifeless body out of his head. But now wasn’t the time to break down. They had to figure out what happened. Justice had to be served.

As the group divided up, Kuro, Naegi, and a few others headed toward the locker rooms to begin their investigation. The tension between everyone was palpable. Trust was in short supply, and paranoia was creeping in.

"We should check both the boys’ and girls’ locker rooms," Naegi suggested, trying to keep his voice steady. "There might be something important there."

Kuro nodded, following him into the boys' locker room first. As they entered, they immediately noticed something off—the rug. The design was different from the one in the girls' locker room. Kuro bent down, running his fingers along the edge of the rug, noting how it seemed like it didn’t belong here.

"This is strange," Kuro muttered, his brow furrowing. "Why would the rugs be different?"

Naegi glanced around, his eyes searching for any other clues. "Maybe someone switched them? But why would they go through the trouble?"

Kuro stood up, his mind racing with possibilities. "Maybe they’re trying to cover something up. We need to check the girls' locker room too."

As they crossed over to the girls' locker room, things began to feel even stranger. The photo on the wall was different here, something that didn’t quite fit. It felt out of place, as though someone had moved things around to mislead them. Kuro’s mind whirred with theories, but nothing solid had clicked yet.

While Kuro and Naegi were deep in thought, Toko Fukawa stood nearby, looking more on edge than usual. Her fingers twitched nervously, and there was a strange intensity in her eyes. Kuro glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, noticing the odd shift in her demeanor.

"Toko, are you okay?" Naegi asked gently, trying to ease the tension.

Toko didn’t respond right away. She seemed lost in her own thoughts. But then, for the briefest moment, Kuro thought he saw a flicker of something darker in her expression. He had heard rumors about her—rumors that she was connected to the notorious serial killer, Genocide Jack.

She didn’t say anything, though. She just quietly walked away, avoiding the questioning looks from Kuro and Naegi.

Kuro narrowed his eyes. "There’s something off about her. Do you think she knows more than she’s letting on?"

Naegi sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I don’t know… But we don’t have enough to accuse her of anything yet."

As they continued to investigate, small clues started to add up. The locker room switch, the odd positioning of the equipment, and, most disturbingly, the realization that the bloodlust murder pattern pointed to Genocide Jack—or Genocide Sho, as she was also known. But nothing directly pointed to Toko yet, and Kuro couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more to this case than met the eye.

After hours of piecing together clues, the time for investigation came to an end.

The trial room was as tense as ever. Monokuma, perched at his usual spot, seemed far too excited for the trial that was about to begin. Kuro took his seat beside Naegi, his stomach twisting with nerves. Everyone was on edge, exchanging glances of suspicion and fear.

Monokuma’s voice broke the silence. "Alright! It's time for the main event! Let's see if you can figure out who killed poor little Chihiro Fujisaki!"

The trial started as they all laid out the evidence the gym, the swapped locker rooms, the scissors, and the strange behavior of Toko. The group argued back and forth, theories being thrown around, but something wasn’t adding up. Kuro stayed quiet, observing, piecing everything together in his mind.
