As Zahra's pregnancy advanced into its later stages, a sense of anticipation filled their home.

On Friday afternoon, Zahra was preparing for prayers. Suddenly, she noticed a sharp pain in her abdomen. It grew stronger, sharper, until it left her gasping for breath. Zahra started to panic but she tried to stay calm. She didn't want to worry Hisham, who was on his way home from work.

However, the pain became unbearable. Something wasn't right. She called Hisham, her voice shaky, and told him about the pain. Hearing the distress in her voice.. Hisham rushed home without hesitation. By the time he arrived.. Zahra was pale and trembling. Without wasting another moment, he helped her into the car and drove to the hospital.

As they waited in the emergency room, Zahra held Hisham's hand tightly.

After a few hours, doctor finally came out to speak with Hisham.

"Your wife is experiencing preterm labor. We're doing everything we can to stop the contractions, but it's possible that the baby may come early. We need to prepare you for that possibility."

The baby wasn't due for another two months. The thought of their child being born prematurely filled him with dread.

When he entered her room, he found her lying on the bed, looking pale.

She held his hand tightly.

"We'll get through this.."

"Hisham... no matter what happens, we have to trust Allah. This is a test, and we have to believe that He knows what's best for us and our baby.."

Hisham sat beside her.

"I know.. I'm just scared, Zahra.. I don't want anything to happen to you and the baby."

"Whatever happens, we'll face it together.."

For the next few days, Hisham stayed by her side.. praying for their child's safety.

As Zahra's condition stabilized, the doctors informed them that while the risk of preterm labor hadn't entirely passed, they had managed to delay it. Zahra would need to rest. But for now, their baby was still safe.

Finally, after weeks of bed rest and careful monitoring.. Zahra's condition stabilized enough for her to return home.
