The day after you made up with Aslan and hung out with Sasha and her friends, felt quiet. You spent the day at home, organizing your space and catching up on schoolwork. As you cleaned your room a movie played softly in the background, providing a comforting distraction.
On Monday morning, you headed to school, the crisp air felt amazing as you walked across campus. After classes, you met up with Riley and Aslan at Riley's house. The moment you stepped inside, the familiar apple like smell of riley's home enveloped you. There were snacks scattered across the table and the faint smell of popcorn.
"What took you so long!" Riley called out as she sat next to aslan on the couch as they shared a blanket.
You smiled, feeling welcomed. "What missed me that badly?"
"Always." Riley raised her eyebrows in a flirting manner.
"What are you guys watching." You put your bag down, "The scream movies."
"Oh my god yes. Just what I need after all that studying," you replied, taking a seat next to him.
You pulled the blanket over you, snuggling in as both you and Riley laid your heads on Aslan's shoulders, creating a cozy little nest.
As the movie began, you realized you'd never actually watched the Scream series before. As you watched you found yourself clutching the blanket tightly, every time they'd try to kill Sydney.
Riley, on the other hand, laughed at every time someone would get stabbed calling th stupid. Aslan sat quietly, his gaze fixed on the screen, taking it all in without a word.
You squealed and covered your eyes during the more intense moments, peeking through your fingers as the suspense mounted. A loud noise suddenly echoed against the window, causing you and Riley to jump.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" you shouted, pulling the blanket over your head. Riley quickly joined you, both of you instinctively seeking comfort in each other's presence.
"Aslan, go check it out!" Riley yelled, her voice filled with panic.
Aslan groaned, "why do i have to be the one to check it out?! What if it's Billy loomis trying to kill me."
"You're the guy!" Riley barked back, Aslan slowly got up from the couch groaning and complaining, "You only use that line when it benefits you." leaving you and Riley huddled together under the blanket.
You peaked your head out the blanket,
"If its billy loomis tell him ill that he could stab me." you stated out loud."You're fucking psycho!" riley pulled you back down, "Says you, you were laughing every time someone got killed!" a sheepish smile crept onto her face.
Just then, Aslan pulled the blanket away, giving you both an exasperated glance. "It was just the tree hitting the window," he said.
"Oh," you and Riley said in unison.

Tuesday arrived, shrouded in rain yet again. The sad patter against your window mirrored your mood as you drove to the cemetery. After placing fresh flowers on your parents' graves, you stood in silence, memories flooding your mind.
Once at university, the rain transformed the campus into something magical. It looked almost like Hogwarts. After your two classes, you checked your phone and saw a message from Eren.
