So uh, I wrote this short story as a part of an assignment for my creative writing class. The prompt was to write a story about being afraid without using the word "afraid" or synonyms of it. After getting inspired by The Winged Victory of Samothrace in Pairs,  I decided to take this prompt to a whole new level and  make "fear" into a person or god (so yes the story contains the word fear but I asked and I was given permission  plus I got full marks so its fine).

After writing it I posted parts of it on Instagram and TikTok, because It was fun to write and I kind of liked it. Well as it turns out a lot of people liked it as well, as it got 1M views on Instagram :0.  People in the comments kept asking me to post the full thing, I got emails from people asking me to give them a copy. At first I was hesitant because It was only 3 pages long and I was planning on using the same concept in an actual book I will write but then I caved, and gave into pressure...

Just kidding :) I thought about it and said what the heck let me just post it here cuz why not. So after going back and editing it a little future here you guys go.

I will say it again, I am planning on using the same concept in a actual book later on, and if there are grammar mistakes or spelling, I tried, I cant say I am dyslexic but I grew up having a English comprehending problem.  Trust me I don't know why I am a writer but it is what it is.

It's really not that long of a story you can read it in like 7-8 minutes. If you listen to music while reading would recommend listening to Achilles come down by Gang of Youth, Romeo and Juliet op 64 , Control by Halsey, or something along those lines to give the text more emphasis if you know what I mean.

Ok sorry for blabbing enjoy <3
