Short 8: Love and Friendship VS. Order and Debts

One day, Velma has the day off from I.M.P so she kind of has the day to herself. In her apartment, Velma closes and locks the windows, closes the windows, and locks the door to her room. Velma also makes sure to turn off her phone and disconnect any electronics and other essentials.

One everything is secure and Velma finds herself in silence, she then approaches her magical silver table mirror.

Velma says, "Magic Mirror with a silver shine so bright, connects the boss with the gem's glowing light."

Like before, the green gemstone on the mirror glows bright and it creates a black and green vortex in the mirror. Soon, the rat silhouette of her boss, Ratburn appears.

"Hello Velma, it's been a while since your last report," the eerie voice of Ratburn appears.

"Yes. I apologize for the late report. I needed a little more time to gather information about Blitzo Abercrombie and those who are close to him," Velma says and bows.

"I trust you've found some information which is worth the delay," Ratburn questions.

"Yes," Velma says. She then explains, "As you suspected, Blitzo Abercombie is the same one all of Hell has been talking about. An Imp that was raised on Earth since he was an Infant. As of now, he's been staying with the Ars Goetia Prince Stolas, and is friends with Sarge, the CEO of IMP and his employees."

"An Ars Goetia you say?" Ratburn questions.

"Yes," Velma answers with a nod, "The Imp has strong feelings for the prince, and he has the same feelings. In fact, the prince and the Earthling Imp are now engaged."

"Really?" Ratburn questions, a bit interesting.

"Correct," Velma says. She then explains, "Blitz apparently has a Twin sister named Barbie Wire, who was in the Imp Circus, and his father was Cash Buckzo, an Imp who died from a fire incident years ago."

"Hmm..." Ratburn responds.

Velma then explains to her boss about Blitz and his friendship with Sarge and the others, along with Fizzarolli. He also names the ones he's most close to are Stolas, Barbie, Fizzarolli, and about his daughter Mimmy.

"A daughter you say?" Ratburn questions, taking an interest.

"Yes. Apparently Mimmy was an Earth kitten before an incident with Hell's alcohol and it changed her into a Hell kitten. Since then, Blitz became a doting father to her," Velma says.

"Seems like you've gathered a good amount of information," Ratburn says.

"Yes. Is there anything else you wish for me to do?" Velma asks.

"Just watch over the Imp, but make sure to keep a closer eye on the Ars Goetia Prince and Princess, a little kitten demon, the female Imp twin, and the Jester, understand. They may be the key to what I have in store," Ratburn says.

"Understood. I'll do that. And I shall not let you down," Velma says.

"Remember, fulfill this, and you'll be able to repay your dues," Ratburn says.

Then the image disappears and the mirror's gemstone stops glowing.

Velma sighs, "Well, I guess I still have time to myself."

Velma walks over, turns on her phone, and sees that she has a message. She gasps in surprise to see a text message from Drew. She sits down, and checks her message board.

When she looks at it, she is surprised to see the message.

Drew: Hey Velma, how's your day off today? I know it's sudden, but I was able to get out of work early today, so I would like to know if you want to go out for lunch.
