Chapter 16: Mina's Imprisonment

Meanwhile, Mina's world grew even smaller. After her failed escape, her parents locked her in her room. The only things left were her bed, an empty bureau, and a lamp. There was no window to the outside world anymore, only a small slit at the top of the wall where light barely filtered through.

"This is punishment," she thought bitterly, pacing the small space. "For daring to want more."

Her meals were brought to her door, but no one spoke to her. The silence was unbearable, like she didn't even exist. Every day felt like a slow, suffocating death.

"Why did I think I could escape?" she asked herself. "There's no way out of here."

But as the days turned into weeks, her thoughts began to change. "I have to try again... there's no other choice."

Chapter 17: The Night Visitor

It was late at night when Mina heard a soft tapping on her window. She sat up in bed, her heart racing. "What was that?"

She moved cautiously towards the window, her breath catching in her throat. There, just outside, was a girl—Ashia. She was clinging to the window frame, a determined look in her eyes.

"Mina, right?" Ashia whispered, glancing nervously at the ground below. "I'm here to get you out."

Mina blinked in disbelief. "How... how did you—?"

"There's no time to explain," Ashia interrupted. "My friend Haru is distracting the guards. We need to go, now."

For a moment, Mina hesitated. "This... could actually work." She nodded, her heart pounding with a mixture of fear and hope.

Ashia helped her climb through the window, and together, they moved silently across the roof, down to the garden below. They could hear Haru causing chaos near the front gate, drawing the guards' attention away.

"Please don't let us get caught again," Mina thought desperately as they made their way towards the back of the estate.

Chapter 18: Haru's Distraction

Haru had been busy creating distractions. He knocked over a stack of crates near the gate, triggering the alarm once more. The guards, thinking it was another escape attempt, rushed to the scene.

"Perfect," Haru muttered under his breath, slipping back into the shadows. "Just keep them busy long enough for Ashia to get her out." He moved quickly, making sure the guards were focused on him and not on the perimeter where the girls were making their escape.

Chapter 19: Freedom at Last

Mina and Ashia ran, breathless, through the narrow streets outside the estate. For the first time in weeks, Mina felt the wind on her face, the cool night air filling her lungs.

"I'm... free." The thought was almost too overwhelming to comprehend. Every step away from the estate felt like a victory, like she was finally escaping the life that had held her captive for so long.

As they reached the edge of the neighborhood, Haru appeared from the shadows, grinning. "You two made it. Let's get out of here before they realize what happened."

Mina smiled for the first time in what felt like forever. "I'm really free... aren't I?"

Chapter 20: The Town of Ashia

Ashia and Haru brought Mina to their town, a place so different from the world she had known. The streets were alive with people, lights twinkling in the windows of small homes, and the distant sound of laughter filling the air.

"This... this is what life is supposed to feel like," Mina thought as they led her through the quiet streets.

"You'll stay with me for now," Ashia said, smiling warmly. "We'll figure out what to do next."

Mina nodded, feeling a strange mix of relief and uncertainty. She was free from her parents' control, but what came next? Could she really build a life outside the walls of the mansion?

As they walked through the town, Mina couldn't help but glance back, just once, at the distant silhouette of the estate on the hill. She didn't know what her future held, but for the first time, she felt like she had a choice.

And that was enough.
