Futaba (Futaomote) Masashige was a young woman who was born with a terrible impulse disorder. So even though she was sweet and caring, she would sometimes have a meltdown. At some point, she married a man and lived with him in Kyoto Town. Her husband left her for unknown reasons, leaving her to raise their daughter on her own. After her husband abandoned her, Futaba's neighbors verbally abused her and called her cruel and twisted, when she was really a kind and loving mother who wanted her daughter to have the best life possible.
Rumour after rumour was spread. Soon enough, the village had good enough reasons to shun Futaba. They considered a threat, a danger to everyone. Although the one thing those haters didn't know is that Futaba had a daughter, Hiachi.
Hiachi was the only person left in Futaba's life, and Futaba loved her more than life itself.
