Author's note: This AN is purely for a few basic explanations about secrets that previous Frost had, and Animal!Sans had, but never told each other. Let's also pretend that Frost found out in the gap between Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. The reason Frost wears gloves, both in this life and their previous life, is because their fingers, distal phalanxes for the skelly body, were too sharp, causing harm to others. They hide their tail in a pocket they crafted into their cloak since constantly holding it up inside their cloak to hide it is tiring. The lotus mark emits a faint blue glow the color of the human soul inside the monster soul (refer to cover pic) when Frost is turning back, and a faint green glow when the automatic healing is working. The places for the lotus mark vary a significant amount according to the animal, but most are on the chest. Sorry for holding you up, on with the story!

"Hello"- talking | (Hello)- muttering or whispering | "Hello"- yelling | "Hello"- unholy screeching *Hello*- thinking | =Hello= - Flame's telepathy | \Hello/- Frost's telepathy | Hello- emphasized

Farm POV:

I kept looking back as we walked towards the house, concerned about the young skeleton who had a pair of black-tipped ears. I could feel Error's magic, but I couldn't feel his presence, so I subtly glanced around, since Error couldn't hide very well. He wasn't there, so I started tracing his magic to the source. Focusing, I traced it back to the young skeleton, deciding to try and strike up a conversation while getting a little info about them and Error's magic.

(Side note: I don't know how Farm talks, so bear with me, as I think he talks like a countryside cowboy.)

Farm: "Ey partner. Can I know your name? I don't wanna keep havin' to call ya 'young skeleton' if ya have a name."

Frost: "I-it's Frost."

Farm: "Well Frost, I wanted ta know if you were okay, and how ya got those cracks on your skull. Ya don't have ta answer that if ya don't want to."

Frost was silent for a few minutes, and Farm, being the observant Sans he is right now, noticed slight movement from within Frost's cloak and decided to ask after Frost gave their answer. Frost was, you guessed, telepathically talking with Flame.
-OMG the amount of time it takes to try and spell telepathically correctly is humiliating, especially since I still get it wrong!
Frost finished their silent convo with Flame, and stuttered out something about stars.

Farm: "Sorry Frost, but I couldn't hear that. Do ya mind repeating yourself?"

Frost nodded and told Farm just about everything about the attacks and why. Farm only stared at Frost as he comprehended the knowledge and the fact that the Stars were this dumb to not realize that this was the same person they attacked. Meanwhile, as he was comprehending, Frost and Flame were snickering at the look of pure concern and confusement, and the fact that his comprehending took like 2 minutes.

Farm: "Soooo, the Stars attacked ya cuz from far away ya look like Dust?"

Frost: "Mhm."

Farm: *Welp, that's all I'm gettin' on that topic. Imma try and see why there's sumfin movin' about in Frost's cloak.* "Hey Frost, I saw sumfin move about in your cloak, do ya know what it is?"

Frost POV:

"Hey Frost, I saw sumfin move about in your cloak, do ya know what it is?"
My sockets stretched wide. How did he notice? I was pretty sure nobody could notice if I flicked my tail, but yet, he did seem like he was extremely observant. Only when he wanted to though. \Should I tell him? Error told us that the Bad Sanses come here a lot to relieve stress and that Farmtale is neutral, secretly swaying more to the Bads' side than the Stars' side./ =Yeah, I think you should. I was observing him while I instinctively checked him since when meeting someone new, I check them instinctively. His description says everything Error told us, and that he noticed Error's magic still siphoning through the... plush-that-is-now-a-pendant that he gave you.= \Let's just call it a magic item from now on./ =Okay.= "Hey pal, ya good there?" Farm's voice snapped me out of my telepathic convo with Flame, and I looked around to see that we were in front of a simple house that appeared to be Farm's.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Can we go somewhere where only you know? I don't want anyone else to know." I tentatively asked, ready for a refusal that never came. "Eh, sure kid. Follow me." He did not give me an option of following, as he grabbed me and I got pulled into a shortcut. As soon as we arrived, I started looking around for Flame, not paying attention to the mesmerizing view of flowers in front of me. I found Flame, who seemed to be staring at something in awe, and following his gaze, I finally noticed our surroundings. We stared at the flower field for a few moments more before Farm spoke up. "Ya like the field, Frost? Also, who were you looking for, and why did you look at nothing before looking at the field?" "W-well, um, you s-see..."

Cliffhanger for yall cuz y not, they're fun. Also annoying, perfectly fitting me. Don't worry, once I get over my current life-ending crisis, which I seem to somehow get twice a day, I'll upload a new part. My only concern is how long the chapter title is gonna be.
