The air was different now—lighter, calmer, as if the very world itself had exhaled after the storm. Babe stood on the balcony of their new home, high in the mountains, far from the shattered remnants of the Council chambers and the battlefield where they had faced the Leviathans' final push. The sun was rising over the horizon, casting golden rays across the landscape, illuminating the lush green that had returned to the earth. For the first time in a long while, peace had returned, but the cost had been heavy.

He leaned against the railing, his eyes drifting to the valley below, where life was slowly beginning to rebuild. The supernatural world, so broken and divided just weeks ago, was finding its footing again. The Council was no more—its corruption exposed for all to see—and in its place, a new, united order was being established. One not based on secrecy and fear, but on cooperation, openness, and trust. And for that, Babe was grateful. But he and Billy had made a decision—a decision to step away from the politics that had consumed them for so long.

This was a new beginning, not just for the supernatural world but for their family. Babe felt a sense of relief wash over him. The battles, the betrayals, the fear—it was all behind them now. They could finally focus on what mattered most: each other.

He heard the soft creak of the door behind him, and soon, the familiar warmth of Billy's presence was at his side. Billy slipped his arms around Babe's waist, resting his chin on his shoulder as they both looked out at the peaceful scene before them.

"Thinking deep thoughts again, Tofu?" Billy murmured, his voice low and comforting.

Babe smiled, leaning back into his husband's embrace. "Just... reflecting," he said softly. "On everything."

Billy's grip tightened slightly. "We've been through a lot."

Babe turned in his arms to face him, looking up into Billy's eyes—the same eyes that had watched over him for so long, through battles and heartache, through victories and loss. Now, they were filled with a quiet contentment, a peace Babe had longed to see.

"I never thought we'd get here," Babe admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "That we'd have this."

Billy reached up and brushed a strand of hair away from Babe's face, his thumb lingering on Babe's cheek. "We earned it," he said, his tone filled with quiet strength. "After everything we fought for, this is ours. No one can take it from us."

Babe nodded, his eyes glistening with the emotion of it all. "We really did it, Billy."

Billy smiled, that familiar warmth spreading through him. "We did, Babe. Together."

They stood there for a moment, just holding each other as the sun rose higher, bathing them in light. Babe thought about all they had been through—the trials, the sacrifices, the battles that had nearly torn them apart. But through it all, their love had remained unshaken. And now, it had grown into something even stronger, something unbreakable. They had faced the Leviathans and won, but it wasn't just about that victory. It was about the bond they had forged, the family they had created.

As if sensing his parents' emotions, their child toddled out onto the balcony, their small, chubby hands reaching up toward Babe. Billy chuckled and scooped the child into his arms, holding them close as the child giggled, their bright eyes shining with curiosity and innocence.

"Little Mumu," Babe said, laughing softly as he reached out to tickle their child's chin. "Or should I say, Tiny Tofu?"

Billy raised an eyebrow, playfully nudging Babe. "You're the Tofu in this family," he teased, earning a mock glare from Babe.

Their child let out a gleeful squeal, completely oblivious to the significance of the moment but somehow sensing the love and joy between their parents. Babe's heart swelled with a deep, overwhelming sense of love—for his child, for Billy, for the life they had built together.

"Do you ever think about how far we've come?" Babe asked quietly, his gaze shifting back to the horizon. "From when we first met... to all of this?"

Billy kissed the top of their child's head, then leaned in to press a gentle kiss to Babe's temple. "Every day," he whispered. "I wouldn't change a single thing."

Babe smiled, his hand resting on Billy's arm as they stood together, their child cradled between them. It was a picture of everything they had fought for—peace, family, love. And now, they had all of it.

"Do you think it's really over?" Babe asked, his voice soft but tinged with a hint of worry. "The Leviathans, the prophecy... everything?"

Billy was silent for a moment, his expression thoughtful. "I think the worst of it is behind us," he said finally. "But there's always going to be something. The world will never be perfect. But I know one thing—whatever comes next, we'll face it together. Like we always have."

Babe nodded, reassured by Billy's steady presence, by the unwavering certainty in his voice. Together, they had faced their greatest fears and come out stronger. And now, whatever challenges lay ahead, Babe knew they would face them side by side.

In the quiet of the morning, with the world slowly healing around them, Babe turned to Billy, his heart full. "Mumu," he said softly, his eyes filled with affection.

Billy smiled, his gaze tender as he looked down at Babe. "Tofu," he replied, his voice a soft murmur.

They stood there, holding their child between them, wrapped in each other's warmth, knowing that whatever the future held, they would face it together. Their journey had been long and fraught with danger, but now, they had finally found peace—a peace they had earned, and one they would protect with everything they had.

As the sun rose higher, casting a golden glow over the mountains and valleys below, Babe and Billy shared one last look—one of love, of hope, of a future they had fought so hard to secure.

This was their new dawn. And together, they would embrace it, with their child by their side.
