Chapter 10

* phone rings *
His phone rings and he takes it out and answers it.
" Rica, what's up?" he says to the other person. I hear the person say,
" Nathy, where are you? Why did you leave me alone."
" Sorry something came up and I didn't want to disturb your sleep that's why I left without informing you ."
" Hm, Nathy come back quick"
"Mm, I'm on my way" he cuts the call.
" Do you have to go? I mean is okay if you go, u don't have to stay here anymore." 
" I'm heading home so let's all go together,hm?"he says.
"Mm, okay then."
I go inside and find Nicky already awoke and tell him that we had to leave.
I hold his hand and we all leave the hospital and get in Natheniel's car and he drives home.
It takes about an hour and I end up sleeping halfway.
          *Nath's POV*
I knew Rica would be upset when I left but I had to leave for an urgent matter.
Lily brings out her brother and we get into the car and I drive.
She sits at the front seat and her brother at back seat.
It takes more than half an hour to finally reach my place at Oak Hill.
     " Lily, we're here." I say and turn to find out that she was sleeping.
" Tsk, this girl.." I shake my head and lean towards her to remove the seatbelt. She was so close to me that I could feel her hot icky breath. I stare at her closely and even forgot about the seatbelt.I was just looking at her. This girl was damn pretty. I couldn't take my eyes off her. Then my gaze shifted to her plump pinky lips. I couldn't understand what I was feeling and why I always look at her lips when I'm close with her.

*I had never felt this with anyone before. Not even Rica who was my... sort of girlfriend?? I didn't really have feelings for her but both our parents forced us into this relationship.I was also very filial to my mom so I couldn't disobey her, not even once.I only saw Rica as a little sister that I always spoilt her and took care of her.*

Then her hair blew and covered her face a little. I used my fingers to tuck it around her ear. This girl's hair was so silky and soft. Her face was also really soft that I wanted to pinch her so badly. As much as I hated to admit it, I was moved by this girl.
Fuck... What was happening to me.
What the hell was I doing just now?
Yet I couldn't tear my face from her, I kept looking at her until her eyes fluttered open. I was caught off guard and immediately moved away from her.
I cough slightly " We're here."
" Oh, ok. What were you doing when you were so close to me?" She says and I really felt ashamed for what I was thinking about her.
" I was just trying to take off your seatbelt"
"Oh ok" she says and then she takes off the belt and looks over to where Nicky was.
She gets out of the car and moves to where Nicky was.
I needed to stay far away from this girl cos I couldn't understand what was wrong with me.
I also get out of the car and goes to her.
I see her carry Nicky and she already looked so tired. How could she carry him around.
" Hey, you're already so tired. Here lemme help you." I say as I try to take him from her.
"You don't have to..."
" Don't you know when you're tired" I say and take him from her carrying him. 
" C'mon, let's go." I say and start to walk towards the gate. After a few walks, I find out she was still standing outside.
" Hey, what are you waiting for?? If I get inside before you I'll lock you outside." I say jokingly and she starts walking to me.
" You-tsk, bossy" she says sarcastically.
" Who are you calling bossy?" I say to her while we walk forward side by side.
"You of course."
" I'm not being bossy" I say to her.
" Oh really, I'm shocked. Has no one told you before that you're so difficult to deal with and annoying, like really annoying??" She says looking up at me.
" No , how can anyone be annoyed becos of me. I'm charming so everyone adores me" I say sarcastically.
She laughs slightly, " Huh?, you? Pfff"
" Of course, I really am charming aren't I?" I look at her closely waiting for her reply and she burst out laughing.
" What?, why are you laughing ?"I say.
" I just think it's funny, you, charming? As if" she says rolling her eyes.
"I don't find anything charming about you, only annoyances and bossiness" she says.
" See me however you like, I don't give a f*k about it" I say and she looks at me strangely.
" What?" I say and she says,
" Did you just say a vulgar word?" She says.
" Yes, so..?" I say.
" Hmm, as expected from u anyway."
I laugh at her and we reach the door. I put my finger on the door knob and it opens. She looks a bit surprised and we all go inside.
I turn the lights on and she starts to look around the house.
" Wow, this place is so huge and..nice"
" Tsk, of course"
" Just how rich are you?"she says.
" Hm, it depends on your definition of rich." I smile at her and lay Nicky on the couch.
She walks to me and sits beside Nicky.
I walk away to get her water from the fridge.
" Here" I hand it to her and she smiles saying " Thanks"
I move to open the curtains and I head inside to the kitchen.
" Are you hungry now? I'm about to cook something.If you want us to can tell me"
I say as I wear the apron and start chopping some stuffs.
" Well, we both haven't eaten for some time so he must be hungry" she says referring to Nicky.
" Are you sure it's him, not you?"
I say to her.
" Well, I'm a little hungry"
"Hm,ok." then I continue.
She gets up and moves towards me.
" You know, I'm really surprised that you're cooking" she says sarcastically as she rests her hands on the counter.
I look at her and move closer to her saying, " You don't trust my cooking skills?? Wait and see" I say as I hit her on the head slightly.
" Heyy" she says and I continue and she watches me.
   Then we all turn to look at Nicky who wakes up yawning.
" Nicky" " Little champ" we both say it at the same time and she looks at me then I raise my brow and smirk. She just rolls her eyes and she  moves towards him.
" Nicky, come.Are you thirsty?"
"Mm, a little" he says.
" Hm, come here" she says as she brings him near the counter and sits him on the chair.
" Hey, is there water in the fridge" she says.
" Check it yourself" I say to intentionally piss her off.
" A simple yes could have worked" she rolls her eyes and opens the fridge.
" Oh, there's some here." She takes it and hand it to Nicky.
He drinks while looking around.
" Sister, what is this place?" He says.
" Oh this is Brother Nath's place."
" Oh ok, brother your house is really nice."
I smile at him, " thanks"
" Thanks for letting us stay here brother Nath" he says
" oh it was nothing" I say as I look at Lily who turns to look at me.
" You should be as respectful as your brother. Learn from him. Maybe you should start calling me Brother Nath." I say smiling.
" Eww, barf. Why would I do that. Tsk,in your dreams." She says
" Hm, suit yourself" I return to chopping and slicing.A few moments later,
" Erm hey,can I use the restroom??" She says and I knew she was referring to me but I intentionally ignored her.
" Natheniel??" She says one more time and I still ignore her. Then she walks and stands before me, " Natheniel did you get what I said??"she says but I still ignore her.
" Are you doing this on purpose?" She says I say nothing.
*sighs* " Brother Nath can I please use the bathroom?"she says and I look up at her smiling
I just wanted to force her call me 'Brother Nath'.
" of course" I say as I wipe my hands and show her the way.
" You're so childish ,you know. U just wanted me to call you that,tsk, so immature."
" Who are you calling immature?" I say
" Nothing"
" That's more like it" I say and she rolls her eyes.
I show her the way inside and leave to continue with the cooking.
She comes back after a few minutes and I'm already done with the food.
We all sit down and start to eat.
I see her mushing on the food, " So, how's it taste?"
" Hm, not bad" she says still eating the food.
" Your actions don't go with your words" I say chuckling.
" Alright, you're really good. So excellent, tasty and delicious. There, happy now?" She says and I laugh.
We all finish the food and I intend to wash the dishes when she stops me.
" Is ok. Let me do it. U cooked so I should wash them" she says determined but there was no way I was letting her wash.
" Is fine. Just sit down and relax, I'll do it." I say
"But..." she says and I cut her off,
" No buts. Listen to big brother" I say jokingly.
" You- stop with the brother stuffs, it's childish."
" Whatever, just go" I say as I push her out of the kitchen.
" Ok, one last thing,?" She says
" What do you want?" I say.
"I want to take a shower" she says and I smile.
" Upstairs, left door in the corridor, after the first two doors. It's a guest room tho. There's a rope and unused towels." I say.
"Mm, ok. Thanks" she says.
" Thank you what?"I say.
" Thank you brother Nath"she says and she walks upstairs.
I turn to wash the dishes.

       * Lily's POV*
I liked his house so much and I can't lie, his food was so good.
I walk upstairs and see so many doors.
" What did he say again" I try to remember, " Oh right"
I go inside and get inside the bathroom and I start to shower.
   * back downstairs*
Natheniel took Nicky to his own room and washed up before sleeping.
Then he called Rica,
" Rica?"
"Nathy are you home?" She says.
" Mm, I'm home. Is too late u should sleep,ok?"
" Hm, ok.Goodnight"
" Mm, same" then he closes up his laptop and heads upstairs to shower.
