[Massive shoutout to AltRider for telling me about game in the first place, I always heard of it but never played until a couple of months ago; so seriously appreciate you]

[Not gonna lie to yall, after I finished playing the game and watching the tv show. I wanted nothing more than to do this, the path of the nomad was just incredible for me and I loved the ending. Right now I am exploring the other endings along with being a Corpo and Street Kid]

Water splashes against his face as Javier looks at his own reflection in the slightly cracked mirror and takes off his old nomad leather jacket and rips off the patch before putting on a large gray unzipped jacket on; he puts the nomad jacket over his right shoulder and steps out of the bathroom as the door slides open revealing that he is currently in a mechanic shop, the mechanic turns his head to see Javier wearing different clothes than what the giant initially wore when first coming in

Mechanic:Electric coupling module

Javier wipes the small bit of water off his face and sighs as he remembers the mechanic specifically telling him that it was going to be fine as he reminds the man

"You said it was nothing serious when I came in"

The mechanic leans against Javier's vehicle and just shrugs his shoulders but also reminds Javier why he was here with him and not instead with another mechanic

Mechanic:Guess I was wrong. Can always look for another shop where they don't ask a lone nomad why he's hugging the border

Javier scoffs and pushes the mechanic off his vehicle and rearranges the cables as the mechanic asks Javier if he knew what he was doing luckily he actually did

"I'm gonna bypass the coupling and rig a hotwire, compress will probably run on but gonna take that chance"

He walks over to the front door of his vehicle and opens as he sits down in the drivers seat and sets the nomad jacket before pressing a button to start up the engine; it takes a couple of tries but it finally does start as the mechanic closes the hood of the vehicle

Mechanic:Not bad. Question is how long it'll last ya

Even Javier had to admit that he had a little doubt going through his mind but nonetheless the vehicle would hold up long enough for the journey that he had in front of him

"Long enough to get me where I need to go"

Javier reaches into the glove compartment of his vehicle and pulls out a walkie-talkie and connects to a nearby trying to get a signal; he wasn't about to start the journey without any information alas the large metal door opens as what can only assumed as the sheriff makes his presence known

Sheriff:Hey, Mike. Didn't know you had a customer

Javier stopped what he was doing and looked up at the sheriff sensing that he was kind of person who didn't know when to keep his mouth shut; Javier calmly disconnected the wire from the walkie-talkie and leaned back in his seat
