Chapter 9

Kahuna POV...

Upon arriving with the main convoy RPG'S were instantly fired upon us. There was nothing we could do. "Retreat to Lowee." I said. Every vehicle, jet, harrier, helicopter, and ship turned around and headed for home. "Financier. We need to get the main missile defence up. We need to take down the nukes and fast." I said with a panicky voice. " Understood. Our minute men are preparing for missile strikes. AA and flaks along with defensive missiles are ready." She said with a lot of seriousness in her voice. "Good. Tell all armed forces that after the missiles are launched we strike immediately." Now it's a waiting game. We all got ready about 15 miles away from the border of Zune. We wait for missiles to fly over our head. We wait for war.

Blanc POV...

This is great. I am hanging by some weird ropes that put us in a bondage situation. Now all we need is some weird pervert to look at us with wanting eyes. Unfortunately my wish was granted when some of the ASIC soldiers came by and started cat calling and trying to get the best angle to look up our skirts. I looked down and saw the pool of black void was growing larger. I knew that when it got to us that we would die from the lack of our power of being a goddess. Our only hope was Kahuna . Without anyone but him to save us. We had to rely on him remaining alive. After a long three hours, we had nearly a whole army looking at us. Then a command rang out. "Launch the missiles!" As the missiles were launched a tear formed in my eye. "Don't worry big sis." Rom said. What she said put a smile on my face. Kahuna would stop the missiles in his own way. As the missiles flew into the air, I said a quick prayer.

Kahuna POV...

I saw the missiles fly into the air. Then an idea came into my mind. "Captain Jones. Can you prepare one of your own tomohawk missile." "Sure. Where do you want it?" he asked me. "Aim for the missiles. Did you catch that too, Foley?" "Yes sir." The missiles made a slow approach. Once they were about five miles out, some missiles we had were fired at the warheads. Each missile was hit by our own. It turned into one big firework show. "Move in. We have to find the goddesses. Relay their location when you find them." Then all hell broke loose. Then I saw the anticrystals with the goddesses within them. I jumped out of the humvee and ran towards them. When I got there everyone was nearly drowned in their own power. I quickly opened fire on their guards. After the guards were taken care of, I smashed one of the crystals and the barrier around them fell.

Arfoir POV...

He thinks that he can save them? No one that runs on share energy can touch those crystals. My face turns to disbelief as I hear the sound of the crystal breaking. "Overlord. I need a med-evac to my position." he said. "If these girls are to escape,you must beat me in a duel. You may be good with a gun but we shall see your swordsmanship." He turned and smiled at me. I drew a sword from a fallen soldier powered it with my own power. He held an empty hand out towards me. In that empty hand a katana appeared in that hand. I rushed forward to strike.
