The room fell silent as everyone processed the unexpected revelation of 'YOU' escaping their lips, leaving no time for questions to form. The crowd wondered how these two individuals were connected in such a surprising way.

In an instant, Chand hurled his juti at the man who was standing nearby and exclaimed, "I warned you before that if I ever crossed paths with you again, I would give you a beating with my chappal. Unfortunately, I don't have my chappal or shoe with me right now, so a juti will have to do instead!"

The man scrawled a quick sketch of the juti before confronting him, his voice laced with anger as he demanded, "What on the earth are you doing throwing your juti?"

The crowd gasped in disbelief, their eyes widening and mouths agape as they witnessed Chand hurl a footwear at him, seemingly without a moment's hesitation or consideration for who he was.

Chand didn't answer his question and instead inquired, "What are you doing h-" before he could finish his thought. He took a closer look, scrutinizing him intently. His eyes grew wide with shock, and he whispered softly, "No, you can't be serious."

The look on that man's face mirrored the one Chand was wearing, yet he struggled to accept what he was seeing. Clenching his jaw in frustration, he muttered under his breath, "Fuck, this can't be real."

Chand chuckled nervously for a moment finally before exclaiming, "𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒂𝒅𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑫𝒆𝒗 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒂. 𝑨𝒎 𝑰 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅? 𝑬𝒏?"

Everyone around them was captivated, as if they were witnessing a scene straight out of a mystery drama. Daanesh was the first to break the silence, his voice filled with surprise and shock as he turned to the pair and asked, "Have you two met before?"

They both responded simultaneously, saying:

"𝐘𝐞𝐬" .

"𝐍𝐨" .

Aadish was filled with frustration as he faced him, his expression revealing nothing. "Are you really saying 'NO' while I'm standing right here?" he inquired, his voice calm yet tinged with annoyed. The surprising news, no more like shocking news of the marriage had already annoyed him very much, and he had never expected to see this person again after their first meeting. Now, discovering that this individual was about to marry him only heightened his emotions, making it difficult for him to maintain his composure.

Chand replied to him in a rather exasperated tone, saying, "Absolutely, I would repeat it a thousand times, even if you stood like a mountain right in front of me."

His mother stopped him before saying any more word. She said as placing her hand over her son hands, "Chand, what are you doing? And what is with this throwing your shoe towards your soon-to-be husband?"

The brothers were all laughing silently to themselves, giving thumbs-up gestures in mind towards their younger brother, yet they maintained a straight face, not revealing their amusement. Dhruv leaned in closer to his cousin, who was standing next to him, and whispered, "Saman, I never thought our Chand would toss his juti at our future jija (brother-in-law) during their very first encounter!"

Saman was making an effort to stifle his laughter and spoke in a quieter tone, saying, "Dhruv bhai, it's not call it the first time; it's actually the second time, and we weren't even aware of that. We really need to ask him about that what happened in the first time."
