Pokemon: Unova Journey

In the Shadow of Zekrom

Narrator: The Pokémon world! The world teaming up with the most amazing creatures imaginable, populating the land, the sea and the air. Wherever you may find yourself, chances are Pokémon will be there, too! And that includes the Kanto region's Pallet Town....home to this young man and his sister, ten-year-old Ash and eight-year-old Riley Ketchum! Both Pokémon trainers, dreaming of one day becoming Pokémon master and being the best Pokémon trainer.

In their respective rooms, Ash and Riley were getting ready with their Pokémon partners, Pikachu and Meeko. "Oops!" said Ash, forgetting his hat. "Yeah!"

"We can't forget about this, Meeko." said Riley, picking up her camcorder.

"Lucar!" said Meeko.

"Pikachu, psyched?" Ash asked.

"Pika!" said Pikachu as Riley and Meeko walked into his room.

"How about you and Meeko, sis?" he asked.

"You know it. Cario!" said Riley and Meeko.

"Me too." said Ash, smiling. "Taking a trip with mom. Can't remember the last time we did that, you know?"

"It's been a while since we took a trip together as a family." said Riley. "Last time we did I think it was for my seventh birthday."

"Ash? Riley? Professor Oak is here to pick us up." said Delia Ketchum, walking into her oldest child's room.

"Great!" said Ash.

"Pika!" added Pikachu.

"I can't wait." said Riley.

"Lucar!" said Meeko.

Brother and sister gasps as Delia fixes her son's hat and wipes something off her daughter's face. "Hmm. There. Perfect." she said, approving their appearance. Once outside with their luggage, Professor Oak was in his car, waiting for them.

"Let's hit the road!" said Professor Oak.

"Nice shirt." said Riley.

"Lucario." Meeko said, telling him.

"Thanks, you two." Professor Oak said, smiling.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu.

"Why're you dressing like that?" asked Ash.

"Oh, this?" asked the professor. "To get everyone in the vacationing mood. It's been years since I visited the Unova region!"

"But this is work related, right, professor?" asked Delia.

"Yes, but when I'm in between conferences it's my time." said Professor Oak. "So, in you go!"

"You heard what he said, right, Pikachu and Meeko?" asked Ash.

"Pikachu! Lucario!" said Pikachu and Meeko.

"In we go!" said Riley.

At Team Rocket headquarters, Giovanni was talking to Jessie, James and Meowth. "Now, once again....What is Team Rocket's number one goal?" he asked.

"Sir, our goal is to capture powerful Pokémon!" answered Jessie.

"Pokémon that are powerful and rare!" replied James.

"And to use them to take over the world!" added Meowth.

"Very good." said Giovanni, approving of their answers. "We are now in the process of assembling a most powerful squadron of Pokémon. An army that allows complete control of the world. Take a look."

He then show them a map of the Unova region. "What's this?" asked Jessie.

"The Unova region." said Giovanni. "A major new stepping stone that will move us toward the successful completion of our plan! I'll be sending the three of you to the Unova region undercover. At first, you'll be entering the Unova region by yourselves."
