I responded as I took a deep breath because I knew I'd have to face her brother... his eyes were irresistible and his lips so kissable! I've liked him my entire life, but I've always known how much it would hurt her so I've never made a move. Yet part of me craves his touch!

~Time jump~ 4 hours

I had her gift and her cake in my hands I almost tripped as I attempted to open the door as he came and opened the door. Making me drop the cake all over him. I put the present down as I stood there in shock. "IM SO SORRY LET ME HELP YOU KEEP THIS UP" I said embarrassed. He rolled his eyes as he slammed the door and walked away! Thankfully Emily came and opened the door. "Ugh I'm sorry about my brother he's an ass hole!" She said to me annoyed. She then dragged me past the mess which she had her brother clean up and we ran off to gossip. It had been weeks since I'd had a chance to see her.
"School had been so busy lately I'm glad we could finally hang out I'm sorry it took my birthday for us to have a chance to talk in person!" She said as if she looked like it was her fault. I smiled and hugged her.

" but let's get into the more interesting details. What's been going on with your love life you haven't been keeping me updated used to tell me every single week about your crushes and now it's just pure silence." She said with a sad face. I froze. I made up some lame excuse that I've been focusing on school too much to think about boys when no reality her brother was the only boy that was on my mind. The only thing I can think about all day long no matter what I was doing or where I was. It began to get annoying how much I liked him. The worst part was that I couldn't even tell my best friend.
