This is From Third person / Nobody's POV following smoked cheese cookie, set after the events of beast yeast chapter 5 and 6.
(At the time of writing, chapter 6 hasn't come out yet.)

------------------------------------------------------------------

The golden city stood empty, no longer the still stood framework it had before, there were no cookies. A few birds but the only cookies were him and the queen. The journey back from beast yeast was quite exhausting. His radiance's now slightly broken wings torn like fabric, though of course the abundant woman withstood, and beat that beast guy, burning spice, was it? No matter, the queen had to rest, and she had given him orders to do something he wasn't very excited to do to say the least. The last time he had met them, it wasn't the best terms. And he doesn't believe they would be happy to awaken, to the face of their enemy, in place of their queens, it was nerve racking, and he wasn't even at the vaults yet, he still had to grab their soul cheese's but hey, on the way there, he could at least think of an apology,

A few more turns, a little bit more, and the man would be face to face with the vault door, hopefully one of the ever so kind cheesebirds or 'chez birds ' as they named themselves could make great haste
in opening the door. But did he really want that? He would rather someone else do it, but it would be treachery to make the wounded queen awaken them. To hold their soul's, to watch them yawn and flutter their eyes awake, after sleeping for all that time, though he didn't doubt that the gate keeper, the closest thing to a rival he had, would immediately commence a battle, we can hope that he can at least explain before he does.

To be honest, the collection of their souls was quite easy, it went off without a hitch, one can only pray that the next part did aswell, there were quite alot of stairs to reach the next destination, The old control and/or watch tower. Thats where one of the few devices in which could bring back his old comrades, though he did get a brief tutorial on how to use it, that information was lifting away like the very smoke he weeds every second. The coder behind the city was always better with machines, though her tireless and adventurous personality did drain him, with her bouncing one place to the next, guided via her bordem which never ceased to fade, he must admit. She was the best person with computers and such he knew, though.. Their last interaction wasn't pleasant, the very vivid memories of being nearly suffocated by a wall of marzipan cookies, due to her tricks, still stinging his mind.

But alas, the stairs have come to an end, and there it was, the machine. Now going off his memory, which is certainly not the best guide. He just pressed a few buttons, put in their souls, pressed a few more buttons, and they should wake up.
