Gisella's POV

Time's Up. Gentlemen shift to your right. And go.

I said goodbye to my speed date partner who had a strange fetish for feet and waited for the next weird guy to sit down in front of me.

"Hello, my name is Vincenzo Mauro, but you can call me Vinny. Nice to meet you," Vinny said in a rush. He seemed nervous. His brown eyes darted around the room.

"Hi, I'm Gisella Romano," I told him. He nodded and laughed.

"Ah, you've got that Italian blood. Same as me. My mother always wanted me to snag one," his voice trailed off, "So what do you do for a living?"

"I actually am a student at Penn State, but I really want to be a photographer for bands. Have you heard of Ashley Osborn? She's my favorite photographer. What about you?" I answered, trying to keep it short.

"A photographer. That is definitely different." He leaned in close to my face and motioned that I follow suit. "I'm a -"

Ding! Time's up. Gentlemen shift to your right. And go.

"Wait, what do you do for a living? You can't just leave me hanging here! I need to know." I said as he got up and moved to his right. He had a smile on his face.

I stood up and asked the girl on my right to switch seats with me.

"No way. He's hot. I ain't about to let him go," she said, placing her hand on top of his.

"Okay, Elsa, I'm gonna need you to let it go and switch places with me. I need to talk to him," I demanded, and Vinny chuckled under his breath. Do you ever hear a laugh and know you want to hear more of it? That was right now. Something inside of me really wanted to know this Vinchenzo Mauro.

The organizer of this thing walked over to me and told me I had to leave, but I needed to talk to Vinny.

"So the cops won't get called, here's my number. Have fun with the rest of your night, Gisella," He spoke with extra emphasis on my name. It sent a chill down my spine. He took out his phone and gave it to me to put my number in it. I did the same. Without another word, I left. Frustrated and confused, I called my friend Christa. She'll know what to do about this. I think.

"Hellooooo, you've reached Christa's voicemail. Sorry I can't come to the phone right now. Me and Gigi are probably out shopping. Beep Beep bitch." Christa's voicemail ended (Yes, I'm Gigi) with a long beep and I told her to call me as soon as she could.

I walked home from bar to be greeted by my old dog Bug. She has three legs and one eye, but I love her. I opened my phone and saw a text from Vinny who put his name as TRaP DEMoN. What the hell is that? I hope he is not some creepy guy like the rest.

Hey Gisella, its Vinny. I wanted to know if you made it home alright. Hope you sleep safe and sound.

That was sweet of him, but I still don't know how sincere that was. I have had my fair share of creeps and assholes. I really cannot take another.

I stripped down out of my clothes and started the shower. I texted him back:

I just got home and I'm headed off to bed soon. Sweet dreams Vincenzo.

I immediately got a text back:

Sweet dreams. Don't let the bed bugs bite.

After, I took my much needed shower and climbed into bed with my laptop and watched Netflix. I dozed off into sleep before I saw the opening credits of Saw.
