When Damian opens the door, they are shocked to find Lila lying in a pool of blood. Damian tells the students to run and call the guard while he checks on her. Though barely alive, she is heavily bleeding. They carry her to Damian's car, and he tells the students to go home while he rushes her to the hospital.
A week passes, and the police find no evidence of how she was attacked. Damian announces that Lila didn't survive. Her parents are holding a funeral, but it will be in a distant location, so none of the students, including Ethan, can attend.
