"Breaking news: Cassandra Lyons has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of four students at Crestfall High School. Authorities believe she acted alone in what has become one of the most chilling cases in recent history."
Damian, sitting in a plush chair, watches the report with a sinister grin, a soft chuckle escaping his lips as the light from the TV flickers across his face.
"You really thought you could pin it on me," he mutters under his breath, his voice laced with satisfaction. "But in the end, everyone only sees what they want to see."
He leans back, his laugh growing louder, echoing through the dark room as his figure swallowed by the shadows.
