The States
"Aunt Anna!!! Please."
"Ara. We've already gotten thirty dresses and Six pair of shoes." Seol tried to reason with the girl her arms were beginning to get tires of holding so many bags containing accessories .
The younger girl whined pouting in the process. "i know. I know. But there are offering a sale . Please I need the.."
Seol had to muster the patience and more importantly the will power not to cave and give in the girl's demands , "You don't need a seventh pair of shoes Ara ."
"But Aunt Ana."
"Let's go Aunt Anna." Jamie rolled his eyes , "my arms are hurting from carrying all these bags."
"What's the point of having a tall brother with muscle if he can't carry a few bags." Ara retorted. "Shouldn't you be using your basketball practice results to good use."
.The tall boy scoffed undeterred , "my muscle is not for you to use for your advantage . You're too obessessed with shopping. You shopping weirdo."
"Yah!"
Seol chuckled at the girl's demand for drama . Jamie and Ara Lee were the most opposite siblings but it was their antics that made her wish she had grown up with siblings. Regardless of their loud arguments the two cared for each other just like the Joo twins.
When she and Logan had moved to America after her mom's death, she had being unable to cope with the grief and the transition from one country to the other hadn't helped her back then.
Although adjusting had been difficult , her niece and nephew , though they were all basically the same age , were very welcoming and made the experience more tolerable. There was never a dull moment with them and the siblings had never made her feel like she wasn't blood related to them at all - they had welcomed her with very open arms.
Jamie Lee Jr was tall , quiet but very protective and was far from shy even though he didn't looked like it. He was a very conservative guy but when pushed , he had a whole different side to him.
Ara was bubbly, full of life , loud and a force to be reckoned with. While she looked like a bratty pampered girl she was actually the sweetest at heart. And just like her older brother , she had a fierce side that came out whenever she got provoked.
Though they were the basically the same age - with Jamie being older by a year , the two of them loved referring to her as Aunt Ana which she didn't notice.
Seol found hanging out with them one of her favorite things to do in America. It Made her less lonely .
Ara and Janie always reminded her of Rona and Rowoon , Seokhoon and Seokhoon.
She wondered how they all were doing - it had been two years since she last saw them and she missed them all especially Baek Rowoon.
"Excuse me." A cute blonde guy approached the three of them precisely greeting the girls from what Jamie observed
Seol politely smiled , "Hello."
Ara waved at him excitedly , "Hi!!"
The blonde boy placed his hands in his pocket. "My friends and I are having a party in case you girls are interested."
"Not interested." Jamie said with a pokerface dragging his aunt and sister out acting like a body guard which he basically was from time to time.
"But" Ara pouted before rolling her eyes in annoyance. "You're so
annoying. You and your tall height probably scared him off."
