The cars weren't there anymore. All that was left were empty streets. The light pollution was decreasing. Lights were one by one were shutting down. First the street lamps then the apartment lamps —, then everything, except my apartment.

I watched the stars waiting for the inevitable, while Natasha was counting away. Not bad for a $1 AI subscription.

The laptop started getting glitchy, screen turning blood red, random programs launching, Natasha's voice getting distorted, pop ups launching error messages.
