The school was crowded as always, people just Minding their own business. Sonoda walks to his locker and Yoon-jae is not far from him... It looks like a war. Jocks pushing each other and popular girls giggling like the shits they are. People getting screamed at and the nerds crying for homeworks. What a peaceful day.
Sonoda takes his stuff and checks his pockets if he had his keys or not since he forgets things like he has dementia. His walk to the class was messy. Seeing Jeongin getting flustered from talking with Bangchan. And seeing some tall ass dude fall on his face, School is a weird place.
He reached his class in time. Sonoda looks around and sees some boy wave at him. He waves back to not be rude. Sonoda thinks that the boy could be nice.
As the class begins, Yoon-jae barges in, everyone looks at him. He doesn't say anything and gives the teacher a sign in a letter that the students should fill in when they are late.
Sonoda prepares himself to deal with Yoon-jae, as Yoon-jae sat next to him in annoyance.
The class was filled with confusion and annoyance. Nobody except Sonoda enjoys math really, even the nerds. They just want grades.
The teacher. Ms. Choi tells everyone to be in groups for a little project. Yoon-jae and Sonoda have the same hint of annoyance. Though Sonoda just doesn't want to talk with anyone. And Yoon-jae just hates math in general. It's also the second week of school. They need to slow down on the curriculum.
Sonoda looks around and sees the boy who waves at him. "Why not him?" Sonoda thought and planned how to approach him
Sonoda approaches him and says "hi"
It was kind of awkward.
The boy responded "oh, hey. You're Sonoda right?"
"Yeah, I'm Sonoda" Sonoda says and looks back at Yoon-jae. He doesn't want him to be in his group, it's going to be a disaster.
He responded, "Nice to meet you," the boy said with a smile.
Sonoda smiles back to not seem like he doesn't care, and he speaks up after a moment of silence. "Do you want to be partners?"
The boy looks up at Sonoda, "sure, why not, my name's junhan by the way"
Sonoda bows down slightly, like a reflex. He refrains himself and sits next to Junhan. Then suddenly the teacher spoke up "can someone please be partners with Yoon-jae?" Yoon-jae looked so done with life when the teacher said that. It took him back to fifth grade.
Then suddenly Junhan raised his hand, "can me and Sonoda join him in?" Junhan said. He thought it was an act of kindness. It is. but Sonoda didn't want to make Junhan feel bad by saying his act of kindness was wrong. So he just stays silent and lets it happen, he sees Yoon-jae walking over annoyed.
Yoon-jae walks to Junhan and sits down next to him with a fake smile. Junhan seems to be too dumb to notice that. But Sonoda did notice the fake smile he thinks to himself "he doesn't need to even act nice."
As the project ranting goes by. yoon-jae was scratching his head in confusion, he sighs in tiredness and looks at Sonoda and Junhan, they seem to figure everything out. Yoon-jae seems to not talk and just exists. Sonoda kinda feels bad but he doesn't want to say anything either.
After class, Sonoda decides to walk to his locker to touch up his makeup. The school air made him look ugly for some reason. While walking to his locker, He notices Bangchan standing there. He approaches with confusion but continues "need anything?" Sonoda says with confusion "Yeah, I need help with something regarding me and jeongin." Bangchan has a pink tint over his ears. "Why do you need me then?" Sonoda says, bangchan looks around and replies "I need a gift for jeongin, so can you tell me what to get him?"
"Well he's obsessed with 3racha, so that's a hint for you" Sonoda says and his concentration goes to his locker lock, he tries to open it but fails meanwhile jeongin walks over to bangchan. He succeeded in the second try and he opens it to put over lip gloss and some mascara, he doesn't have time to redo his blush so he takes his notebooks and other stuff for his next class.
It was korean for him, he's still learning it. It's a difficult language to learn, so he decided to take this side class. He walked in with Mr.park grumbling about how his wife was annoying him by calling multiple times in the middle of class. Sonoda takes a seat near a girl. Where he sat on the first day of school, she's nice and she helps him with korean.
The class went by with a simple korean story they needed to make in the past tense. Mr Park continues to mind his own business after he gives out the assignments to everyone. Sonoda starts writing when suddenly the girl speaks up "hey I actually never got your name, can you tell me what it is?" she had her usual polite tone. Her name is Jiwoo, the girl he bumped into on the first day of school. "Sonoda" he said, he's too concentrated in his work to look up at Jiwoo. A moment of silence was there. The pencils are moving and some students are complaining and regretting moving to korea.
When Sonoda was concentrating on work, Jiwoo seemed to be staring at Sonoda. He senses it and looks at Jiwoo, confused "need anything?" then Jiwoo replies as her face was red "eh? Oh nothing"
Time skip to lunch
Sonoda checks the time on his phone '12:29 pm'. He walks out of class with Jiwoo ranting about her favorite idol. He can't escape her rants so he just listens to them until she runs out of info to tell.
He zones out in the middle of her talking, her voice was muffled because of it. He was thinking about his story and his plots. But when he looked to his side where Jiwoo was, she disappeared. He guessed it was just her realizing that he wasn't listening.
The walk to the cafeteria was short, he saw a lot of bullshit going around him. He tries his best to ignore them, But then he suddenly bumps into someone. It was Yoon-jae, Yoon-jae looked at Sonoda with a displeased look "watch where you're going, chick" . That last word made Sonoda annoyed but he refrains himself and just walks away, he feels you-jae's arm brush against him.
He didn't think much of it.
Yoon-jae's thoughts were filled with anger after he bumped into Sonoda, not on Sonoda, but on the girl a few feet behind the shorter boy. Jiwoo.
He remembers her bullshit, of course he does.
He ignores her but she gets in his way "what do you want?" Yoon-jae said annoyedly, he tried so hard to forget what happened. What she had done to him. Anger was boiling in his stomach but he couldn't do anything about it, it would cause a scene.
"I didn't expect you to run this far away, yoonie" she and and smirked. She just walked off after that.
What a bitch.
