"If you leave me to last green, I'll let you kill me." Scott stated confidently.

"I'll give you 30 seconds to run."

Scott hesitated. But he looked like he was serious.

"I love you."

"Thirty seconds. That's it. Thirty." He seemed upset or just disgusted at Scott.

"Say I love you back."

... he didn't respond.

Scott immediately turned around and bolted, not feeling that oh-so comfortable breeze he felt not even an hour ago. His throat closed, and his eyes watered.

He passed Grian and Joel, the only two red lives of the server at the point. But Scott didn't care. He didn't even look at them. He just ran past.

He jumped into the water, like normal, although.. it was suffocating. It hurt. He pushes past that and swam at the surface of the water.

He climbed up onto the slim one block path to his house.

Then, he ran in.

He swung the door open, leaving it ajar as he ran to the bathroom, quickly collapsing to the ground, breathing in quick, shallow, and shaky breaths.

He didn't notice his familiar blonde friend enter the room. He was trying to breathe. He couldn't. His throat was closed, and he felt like he was dying.

He was dying, and he couldn't save himself.

It feels warm.

Is this what death feels like? Scott thought.

He heard some sort of distant speaking... what was that?

"...in for...yeah, that's good."

He felt himself start to listen to the words of this mysterious person.

"Okay, you're doing great. Again, in for 4, hold for 3, out for 4, hold for 2." The mysterious person muttered. It felt like they were close. It was comforting.

Not long after, he opened his eyes. When did he close them?  That doesn't matter. He blinked a few times to focus them.

It was... Martyn?

"W- when...?" He muttered. He cringed at how his voice sounded so quiet and how it cracked.

"When what?" He cocked a brow.

"When... did you get here...?" He asked in a measly tone.

"I heard you run in. What happened?" He seemed concerned, or maybe it was just pity...

Was he stupid or something? (Is this going to be angst or fluff?)
