The following story is based upon events that had the possibility of happening, but did not. Names and some ages have been changed to protect both the innocent and the guilty parties. (Mostly the guilty)
Sophie: We're trying to get a room in the ICU at the University Hospital. So far, all the rooms are full.
Bree Sanders: We're praying!
AJ: Don't you worry. I've got a plan. Adrianna, we're gonna need you to bring those babies. Lydia, you're in nursing school, we're gonna need you too. Everybody else, meet me in the morning. Bring your trailers and your tools. WE RIDE AT DAWN!
Lydia: You got it, Aunt AJ.
Maddison Brown: I'm ready, say when.
Adrianna: I knew I had those babies for a reason! We'll be there.
Bree Sanders: I'm ready whenever!!! We'll make it happen!

As the sun barely peaks above the horizon, a long caravan of trucks pulling trailers, a couple of vans, and a few cars all meet up an hour away from the University Hospital. The drivers and passengers of the vehicles all exit and circle up around a beat up, blue, pickup truck, which belongs to Aunt AJ. Everyone, even the three small children, listen intently to Aunt AJ as she lays out the plan. She spreads blueprints of the two hospitals over the hood of her truck and begins detailing her plan.
"Okay. Aidan, Maddison, you brought your trailer, so that's gonna be our transport. Ryan, you're gonna ride shotgun with Aidan. Dan's gonna ride on the trailer with Galen and be the acting doctor. Lydia, you've taken enough classes, so you're gonna ride with Dan and G as the RN. We'll strap G to the trailer with tie straps and Mark can ride back there to make sure G's getting enough air. The rest of us will be at the University Hospital and will be forcibly requesting that somebody leaves ICU, otherwise known as taking the ICU floor hostage. You all clear on the plan?"
"I got you," Lydia says with a nod.
Everyone else nods and Aunt AJ says, "We'll let you all known when we're ready."
"And somebody make sure Laura knows what's going on," Adrianna says. "She writes a lot of stories, and most of them are pretty popular, and there's a decent chance we're gonna need bail money. She can write this whole thing down and make us some money."
"I gotcha," Bree says, pulling her phone out of her pocket and texting someone quickly. She get's a reply nearly instantly and laughs when she reads it. "She says, 'First, why are we doing this are the butt crack of dawn? And second, sure. I'll write about this, if it goes wrong, which it most likely will, you all are gonna need bail money. And if it does go well, which I doubt, we can just use the money to pay for my dad's chemo and radiation.' She isn't wrong."
Everyone laughs a little before AJ get's their attention and says, "Let's go."
Everybody climbs back into their trucks and cars and drive off in the directions of the two hospitals. Most of the group drives toward the University Hospital, but the ones given the job of transportation drive toward the hospital where the three members of the Sadler family are currently waiting.
The group charges with taking the University Hospital ICU floor hostage easily enters the parking garage that is attached to the hospital. The adults, even before they exit their vehicles, are all armed to the teeth with weaponry, whether those weapons are guns or knives, or both. Larissa, Tate, and Bianca, the two toddlers and their baby sister, are all stripped down to only their diapers and picked up by the adult members of the group. The group is unopposed as they walk through the parking garage and into the hospital, entering easily. The ones who visited Galen when he was in the hospital a month prior are leading the way inside. The group take the elevators up to the ICU floor before splitting up and going to opposite ends of the floor.
