the kindest kiss chapter 2

chapter 2 

lucy awoke not knowing where she was or how she got there.  the sun was shinning through the huge windows and it hurt her eyes to stare at it. 

"good morning sleeping beauty" the young teenager said

the young teenager was called Taylor he was Lucy's boyfriend and at this time he was the only one lucy could depend on. his Leander frame was the one thing lucy always found amusing because of his deep voice and his power over people was astounding but his frame did not tend to reflect this.

"was i asleep that long?" lucy replyed in a playful voice.

"yes you were now get dressed so we can get something to eat because right now I'm starving" Taylor said as he exited the room and walked into his en suit bathroom. Lucy loved this house it was just so big, she could fit her whole room back home into one of Taylor's bathrooms.

 the sun began to descend into the sky and Lucy found herself getting up and pulling her jumper and socks back on. she was still fully dressed after she had fallen asleep in Taylor's arms. 

"where are we going for lunch then?" lucy asked invisitive as to the answer that was sure to follow 

"same as always babe" Taylor replied and Lucy's heart sank, she hated the run down cafe they always used to go to for lunch on a Saturday. Lucy, the thrill seeker, wanted to try out the sushi bar or the Chinese restaurant for a change but there was no point in arguing with Taylor, not now when she needed his help more than anything, so she got dressed and brushed her hair and made her self look more presentable than she did when she woke up.

the sun was still high in the sky when both Taylor and Lucy stepped out of the cafe. it was gone 4 but the sun was still as hot as ever. Lucy praised every second she had with Taylor because he was just the worlds best boyfriend.

"hey, hello are you even listening to me?" Taylor said and Lucy snapped back into reality.

"oh sorry i was day dreaming" she replyed lowering her head not to show her cheeks darken to a shade of red.

Taylor took this as a bad sign and lifter Lucy's head up and cupped her face in his hands, there eyes met and Taylor pressed his lips to hers and Lucy almost fell to the ground at the sudden change in Taylor's aura , his sweet sent filled Lucy with hope and trust, Taylor lifted his head away for Lucy's and said

"you know you are the most beautiful girl in the world to me, i wouldn't have anyone else by my side except you" Lucy's heart sang and she felt amazing at this unexpected compliment from Taylor. they walked hand in hand back to Taylor's house.

once they reached the front door Taylor routed  around for his keys and when he finally found them he unlocked the door and let us both enter. we walked down the hallway into the living room and sat down on the sofa with seemed to fill up most of the room. the cushions felt soothing against Lucy's cuts and bruises on her back. Taylor stood up to find the tv remote and he started to approach the subject they had both been avoiding.

"so lucy..... i know this is soon but whats going to happen about you and your mom and cain?"

Lucy flinched at the mention of her older brother, Cain was evil pure evil, his heart had no remorse and he could have killed Lucy when he had the chance but Lucy was smart and she had waited till Cain grew tired and she ran all the way to the park and she had waited an hour... maybe two before she finally set off for Taylor's house, the only safe place she knew.

"Lucy..." Taylor came and sat down beside her, her skin was cold to touch and her heart seemed to slow to almost and unrecognisable  speed. 

"i don't wanna talk about it okay? please can i just spend another night here with you, we will have to go get some of my stuff but we can go at 5 when Cain's out "partying" with his friends" Lucy was almost silent after she spoke because she knew how much Cain would hurt her no matter how much she pleaded or asked him to stop.

Lucy moved closer to Taylor and she lay there lifeless and fell asleep in the safe arms of her boyfriend.
