Holly's POV

" Luke why'd you ask me to have lunch with you?" I ask shyly

" because I wanted to apologize for kissing you" he replies

" oh" is all I manage to say

" I know you like James " he shots back

I make a face and he noticed

" c'mon even a blind man could see the way you look at him" I bit my lip " and the way he looks at YOU" he adds

" I ..uh" I say in shock

"Are you telling me you've never thought of it" he says and my shoulders raise

" no I mean idunno maybe yeah, a lot" I sigh

" but " I start then Luke cuts me off

" but nothing , you love each other " he yells

" I don't know why you two haven't gotten together yet

either " he adds

" James doesn't love him he thinks of as a friend. His BEST friend" I point out but Luke just chuckles

"You're so blind hol. He wants more than anything to be with you he's just a puss, he's scared but , I don't know why" Luke sighs

" do you love him?" He asks

" yes " I reply softly

" do you love him?" He says more firmly gripping my shoulders and shaki

" yes , I love James a lot " I say louder with more heart

"good now go get your man" he lowers his arms to his sides and my lips twitch into a smile

" believe me I will"

JAMES' POV

I don't know why I was mad really

She could date whoever she wanted

I wanted her to be happy I really did

' you're just giving up ' I hear a voice in my head

But just shook it off

I was home alone tonight There was some family event going or something but I said I was sick so I was home alone

I fell asleep on the couch at one stage

Only to be awoken by a loud banging

Great someone was at the door

" I'm coming " I tell out rubbing my face

I open the door and before I can say anything a set of lips crash onto mine

It takes a few seconds to come back from shock and kiss the lips back tasting the strawberry and smelling the vanilla in their hair

The lips leave mine

Still puckered and confused

I blink a few times and get my sight back

It was holly who kissed me

I stand there dumbfounded waiting for her to say something

Anything

" I don't know what to say " she says a small blush creeping on her neck

" ok how about you explain to me why you went on a date with my friend and now you're here kissing me" I snapped

She looked confused for a moment

"Jai told me" I crossed my arms over my chest

"It wasn't a date he apologized for kissing me and he knocked me into my senses" she defended herself

"What do you mean?" I raised my eyebrow

"He got me to realize how madly Inlove I am with you" she bit her bottom lip

" I don't know what to say " I reply lamely

Holly grows a sad look over her face

" except for , I wish we had done this a long time ago" I grab her waist and kiss her tenderly

Her hands squeeze around my neck pulling in so there's so space between us

The moment I've wished for ever since I was five was actually happening and it was amazing
