"The fire is gone?" Doff widened his eyes as he gripped the shoulders of the manservant who offered him the buzzing gossip that made many servants sigh in relief.
"Yes! Maybe the Duke's staff had put it out." The manservant winced in pain as the hard grip started to hurt, he was also confused as to why Doff was not celebrating with them.
"No, I saw it did not work on the fire." Doff voiced out but then clenched his lips as if he revealed too much.
He let go of the manservant and then made his appearance to take a calm form.
"It is fortunate that no one will be injured anymore." Doff stated as he gestured to the manservant to go to the physician to check on the injured staff members.
"Master, the myr isn't there anymore." Another manservant arrives after the stammering one is gone and refers politely to Doff.
Doff grits his teeth.
"Kev, We must now relieve ourselves from our duties. I have prepared my resignation letter." Doff replied with a profound hum.
"I have prepared one too." Kev stated as well.
"Why do you wanna quit, Doff?"
"Y-young Lady Valdeen!" Doff was almost frightened into fainting.
The girl who looked like she had a fiery disposition as she raised one of her eyebrows and flipped her long purple coloured hair out of her hardened and stern face.
"I have to report you and Servant Kev to my dad and papa for such suspicious behavior." She declared.
'Except for that weakling youngest child who only has his pretty face, the Valdeen Clan are filled to the brim with monsters!' Doff thought. He hadn't even sensed her arrival despite being a seasoned staff member of the Valdeen Duchy who had their servants train their six senses diligently for such difficult situations.

"W-what are you talking about? Are you trying to blame me for your failure? Why would I place a Myr in your greenhouse?" Mione rolled his eyes as he prompted on a fierce expression to direct it at Adonia, who was blank faced.
"That is what I was wondering. Why would you place a Myr in my greenhouse? And the reason I suspect you is easy, it was my fault for not thinking about this before." Adonia hummed.
"What are you fucking talking about?"
"Brother Mione, you are the only person in the clan except for Papa and Grandma who can easily manipulate magical creatures with mana to do the bidding, and Moonshine can't come out of nowhere without his arrival being instantly noticed by others. So, it means somebody placed him there deliberately and specifically wanted me to take care of him so if he does something wrong, the blame can be put on me instead of the one that brought him here." Adonia continued to talk and did not forget to deeply observe Mione's facial expressions with his narrow eyes, and was not disappointed to find the panic-stricken gaze in the purple eyes.
"You are bluffing—"
"PAPA would never endanger me and Grandma lives far away from the Capital, that leaves only you. And besides that, you were so sure that he was my friend and it was like you knew everything from the beginning, it makes you very suspicious. So, brother. Tell me, why did you put Moonshine inside our parents' domain? What do you have to hide?" Adonia did not let Mione interrupt him and huffed loudly to indicate that he will finish stating his inner thoughts and turning it into his vocal medium no matter what.
