Once upon a time, there was a girl who lived in a big city. Her house sat on a street with two small gardens in the middle. Despite the noise and rush of the city, she found peace in those little green spaces. Every day, amid the busy city life, she would escape to those gardens. There, she sits quietly, watching the world go by. No matter how hectic things got, those gardens were her refuge, where she could be like a flower growing in the cracks of the city sidewalks.

April was a bright, lively girl with captivating black eyes, belonging to a family of four. She had a best friend, Suzan, who was more like a sister to her, and together, they were inseparable. They did everything together, from school projects to outdoor adventures. They played games until the sun went down and concocted culinary experiments in their free time. Their friendship was strong, built through shared experiences and endless laughter. At school, they competed fiercely, always trying to outdo each other, yet they stood by each other's side through every stumble and success.

Beyond the classroom, their bond extended into the small but important moments of daily life. April and Suzan would carefully organize their schoolbooks, making sure everything was in perfect order. When they weren't studying, they'd jazz up their school uniforms with stylish collars, always on the hunt for something unique. Their friendship was so seamless that even their families became intertwined, with each side familiar with the special bond they shared.

April's family had a unique dynamic. Her father worked in the educational system, shaping young minds, while her mother, a homemaker, had an artistic flair that filled their home with handmade crafts. April's mother sewed clothes for the family, each piece infused with love and creativity. April watched her mother, learning the beauty of imagination and craftsmanship, and carried that spirit with her as she grew.

Suzan, on the other hand, came from a larger family with two older sisters. Her mother worked as a dressmaker, while her father was in the army. Despite their different family backgrounds, April and Suzan's friendship remained unshaken, their bond unbreakable.

Their elementary school years were filled with happiness and endless adventures. They joined a group in the school like boy scouts. When we signed up, we got to pick between two types of uniforms: one was a deep blue, and the other was a lighter shade. I went for the deep blue, while Susan chose the lighter one. In this group, we did all sorts of exciting things. We went on trips to see new places, learned how to help others, and even how to make and sell stuff. Susan and I teamed up and started a little business. We buy small boxes of snacks or little trinkets, split them into smaller boxes, and sell them to our classmates, or sometimes to other kids in the neighborhood after school.

We even made sandwiches sometimes, with a little help from my mom, and sold those too. After a busy day, we head to my house, where we had a cozy spot on the roof to relax and laugh about all the fun we had and dreamed about the future.

Their adventures didn't stop there. April and Suzan loved riding their bicycles through the streets, sometimes doing daring stunts, like riding with their hands in the air. On one occasion, they even tried to hitch a ride on the back of a van, much to the amusement—and occasional frustration—of the driver.
