<Orion's POV>

I can barely sleep. I honestly don't know why, but that's probably because Wesley snores. Really loud. I hang over the bunk after I hear the snoring stop for a few minutes, and I spot Wesley drawing patterns on the wall with his knife, rubbing the white bits away when he's done.

"Hey." He flinches, turning to face me on his back. "What're you doing?" I ask, but he scoffs at me. "Channeling back to our caveman ancestry and making cave drawings."

I pause for a moment; Confusion etched into my face. He sighs, "No- obviously not." He looks up at me with very pretty eyes. "It's called humor." He sighs, turning back onto his side. "You bored kid?"
"Yeah."
"Come here then."
I climb out of my bunk, sitting next to him on his bunk. "Here." He hands me a bit of blue stuff. "It's a crayon," he looks at it again and makes a face. "Well, what's left of a crayon."
"What am I even supposed to do with this?" I ask, highly confused as to where he found a crayon. "Draw, I don't know."

He points to an old little drawer on the other side of the cell and I find a pretty intact piece of paper. I decide to draw a bird, a Magpie. I always liked them, and I haven't seen many often anymore. I sketch out the bird with the little crayon bit until Wesley gets out of his bed to sit next to me. "That's a nice drawin' kid." He points to my Magpie.

"I used to do art, with whatever paper and pencil or whatever I could find."
"Interesting. How long has it been since you've drawn then?" I pause, crayon in hand. I genuinely don't really remember when or where I've last drawn something, but an ache pang through my body, and I knew it definitely drew something important. I can't remember, but my body does.

"Probably last month." I lie, and he nods. "It's pretty late kid, you should probably head to sleep."
"I'm not that tired, honestly." I was, I really did wanna pass out right there. I don't know why my body and head wanted two different things but I could tell I didn't like it. I sigh, going back to drawing my Magpie.

I turn to look at Wesley again, he seems asleep. I get up, putting my Magpie away and the little crayon, and I climb back into bed, facing the ceiling. An idea suddenly sparks in my head, and I get up quietly, going up the the cell door, in which the lock hung. I go back to Wesley, and I take a long look at him, wondering how the hell I'm going to get his knife without waking him up.

I climb onto his bed and I put the blankets covering his legs to the side, and I see the secret knife holster hidden in the cloth behind his lower leg. I lean down, trying to get the knife from it, I pull slowly until it comes out. I was going to do a victory dance, but he shifts and I almost fall off the bed catching myself. I lean awkwardly onto the bed frame, my hand on either side.

I pull myself back up and I get off of the bed again, walking up to the lock and picking it. It pops open luckily, and I slowly open the cell door. I sneak over to the cage which holds the lovebirds, and I begin to set them free.

<Wesley's POV>

I suddenly wake up for a reason I cannot name, and I sit up, looking at the wide open door. I'm probably still dreaming. I lay back onto my side until I feel my knife is missing.

Okay, maybe this isn't a dream.

I quickly get up and I go to the open cage door, spotting the kid jiggling at the cage lock holding the other two. "Kid.. What're you doin'?" I whispered at him, wondering why he'd do something so stupid. I mean, does he even know where to go after this?
